Hope Tyreke Demarcus and the other guys take a harsh stand and force that (Please Use More Appropriate Word) out of our franchise.

Even if Demarcus does leave and did request a trade - this moron has to go.

If Demarcus said something in the likes of "Me or Paul", I wouldn't blaim him one tiny bit! we all see our teams and all see which direction we're headed with this clown.

These weren't some random comments he spouted out. It was a Kings press release. It certainly does appear as though management supported the statement.

But man, how do you recover from this? This appears to be a blatant attempt to burn the bridge with him.

1. Under no circumstance do you trade Cousins now or anytime soon. When you have an asset, you don't sell when its value is at its lowest.

2. He may be 6'11 & 260 lbs, but he's a runny nosed brat that has a ton of growing up to do.

If you let him call the shots now, it's only going to get worse and worse over time. He needs to have his ass glued to the end of the bench and made to understand that the next "episode" will being a cycle of suspensions that will become more severe every time he acts up. He can either get his **** together, or he can rot on the bench until 2015 ... and see what kind of contract he can get after not playing for nearly 4 solid years.

You either ride that pony, or that pony is going to ride you.

We look to the draft in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015. Don't worry guys. We'll be back in the playoffs by 2016

I think Cousins is gone either way. If this was supported by management, even if we fire Westfail, he's going to be playing for a team that doesn't want him...

Well his value wouldn't have been hurt that much if we didn't make this public statement.

Yes but again -

It is much more likely that Cousins said something in the likes directly due to Paul himself being in the franchine and staying as head coach. - if he indeed said it.

In that case I do not blaim him one single bit. you see Tyrekes comments, u see the comments of all the dudes who left us (Ime, Omri, Spec etc) - Paul is a PROBLEM.

I hope to god our FO doesn't pick Westfail side in this whole mess, that would be literally a spit in the face of the players and fans alike.

I just don't see anything Cousins said - IF he said it - to have anything to do with the players, FO, fans, City or w/e.

IF he said it, it is strictly due to the man at helm and the fact that he feels(rightfully so) that there is NO future with him, and whoever stays being coached by that clown is heading south in both rep, stats and progress.

Not sure what this is based on.

And I remember Ime's comments, but not Omri's. And who is Spec?

This is a disaster. I'd rather fire Westphal and trade Evans for a bag of potato chips before moving Cousins. Unbelievable. Why put this in a press release? Westphal and whoever green-lit this are idiots. It will be interesting to see how this develops given that Cousins' agent just said Cousins did not demand a trade and Westphal did not contact him (the agent) before making the press release.

Westphal should be fired, Cousins shoudn't be traded, be the best thing for the franchise. Keep the development going, there'll be ups and downs with a situation like this.

Kings just losing Cousins like this would be pretty crippling, most likely. Not sure you could get another young big like him right now as talented, give him more time to mature and with a better coach.

Unless it becomes obvious, Westphal's at fault here and should be fired. This seems way too dramatic and direct coming down on Cousins like this.

If the Kings deal Cousins and don't get a dynamic young big in return - they just set themselves back a whole year or two.

This franchise is in such a mess. Just start over from complete scratch in my opinion.

Tyreke is clearly not a team player. DeMarcus is immature and proving why four GM's were so smart to pass on him. Our coach is terrible. We have a terrible culture and atmosphere. The team doesn't understand any concept of a team.

Trade Tyreke for pennies on the dollar. Trade DeMarcus for pennies on the dollar. Keep Thornton and Hayes. And let's pray for Drummond and Shabazz

I think you're rushing too much to defend him. He said "What offense?" Which could be in interpreted plenty of ways. Like one being that the offense we try to run is constantly hijacked by Tyreke's ball dominant ways.

If the Kings rebuild it would be bad for Sacramento.

This is ridiculous. Only person to blame is Cousins, how the **** he can go and throw the franchise that invested in him so recently under the bus is beyond me. He hasn't earned the right to be demanding trades. This is a joke and a slap in the face to a franchise that put their faith in him. The kings are a talented young team and this crap screws that up.

But again, the issue is that management seems to be behind the statement.

8-) Send Cousins to the Pistons for Daye/Maxiell and a Pistons 2013 1st rounder...

He wouldn't really be throwing anyone under the bus unless he made the comments publicly himself.

This is sad how you guys so willingly side with an immature punk like Cousins. Westphal may not be a great coach, but you will never win with Cousins in your lockerroom or on your team.

Wishful thinking probably, but I'm just hoping Westphal went rogue and somehow got this released without Petrie or the Maloofs knowing about it.
