What about Beal; Gortat; Porter; and the 1st for Cousins and McLemore?

The Nets pick, expirings, and hopefully Smart if you could snag him from Boston. Lee, Smart, and Amir Johnson, 1st for Cuz and Rondo.
Suckville swapping pick with Philly the next two years and giving up that unprotected in 2019. Which is why I don't think they would go that route
Smart to me is even a questionably good player. There is no telling what that Brooklyn pick would be
It takes time. Rondo/Gay/WCS/Cousins/Curry/Casspi/Koufos are too talented to stay down. You make changes, not tear down IMO

What would the point be in doing a deal like this? If the Kings move Cousins they have to try and find a talent you can build a team around, nothing there is close to that. It's a solid package if the Kings had another superstar in their back pocket though.

Make it Oubre instead of Porter and that deal works. Almost all Wiz fans would pull the trigger on that.

I would demand Porter as well. Then your GM gets to decide if hanging on to Porter is worth losing out on Cousins. History tells us he will typically cave in this situation.

Washington's FO has a history of bad drafting, they've been more than successful in trades (Ie Nene for Javale McGee, Gortat for the 18th pick, etc).
Sacramento isn't likely to get a better young asset than Beal in return for Cousins. Their other options would be to accept a trove of assorted draft picks from either Brooklyn or Philly, none of which would help your management 'win now' anytime soon (and history says that the Kings management is heavily invested in that at all costs).
Beal + Gortat + 2016 1st + 2018 1st is more than fair for a player who's constantly in trade rumors, and will likely be available once his FA period comes up. Of course, I don't think the Kings are seriously looking to deal Cousins atm. But if things changed in the near future, I have no doubt their FO would listen to that offer from the Wiz.

The Kings get two lotto picks (probably 4-8 range) regardless to start off the rebuild with. Is it ideal? Heck no, but as far as rebuilds go it's a nice start considering the chances Vlade took this summer to put this team together. Maybe then also put an emphasis on Ben for the rest of the year and see if he can blow up with an increased role offensively.
I certainly don't want to see them trade Cousins at all, but if the idea is that it isn't salvageable you have to look at the possibilities and Vlade is probably thinking about it like any good GM would.
SacKingZZZ wrote:A bit off topic but I see Ryan Anderson might be available! I say keep Cousins and go after him. I was hoping he'd be the FA target for the Kings this summer, maybe they can bypass that and jump on it? I just don't know what the Kings could trade. Wonder if they could have any use for Koufos?

Firing the coach would come first though, no?

Most Kings fans do not want to trade him to my knowledge. The title to the thread would seem abrasive to some Kings fans. Last I checked the Kings were 11-38 without him over the last few years and 1-7 this year

Because our other centers cant do anything?.And it is not like we dont get anything when we trade Cousins.I think this is the 12381238128th time I am writing the same thing. If someone tries to understand what I write in this thread they can totally see my point, they may agree or they may not.Btw I know you are not one of them, but it is kind of fun to see the kids who cannot even read a post go mad
