This is kinda Summer league news for us. The Fiba Olympic qualifying tourney has started and Bogdan BOGDANOVIC is starring for the Serbian team which has won their first two games.

His stat lines for those games -

vs PR - 26mins, 12pts, 5-13fg, 2-8 3pts, 7rebs, 5ast, 1pf, 1to
vs Ang - 26mins, 12pts, 4-6fg, 4-5 3pts, 4rebs, 8ast, 1pf, 1to, 1stl

Here is the link - http://www.fiba.com/oqt/serbia/2016/Serbia

Im happy to see that both of them are over as well. Shows Vlade is at the very least trying to give these kids a shot to prove they are ready for the big time. Most guys like this that we hear of getting drafted never make it to the states.

Next year, we could have a very Euro looking team with Casspi, Papa, Koufos, Bogdanovic and one of Mitrovic or Gudaitis or both . Of course, it's up to their development.

PS - We shouldn't over look Retin Obasohan from Beligum - could be a sleeper high performer for us. Here is a little background on him -

When does your SL start? Will Papagiannis be playing? I'd be like to see how he does in the NBA :)

People are going to wig out either way over one summer league game, hopefully it's positive

I love what I have been hearing about I. Cousins fighting over the top of every screen in pick and roll in camp. I really hope this guy could be part of the answer at PG for the Kings.

The only problem I see is the number of bigs. Last year was some of the worst basketball ever seen with Moreland and Willie out there. Their was no cohesion, no game plan, and no spacing. I just hope we see Willie get chances to spot shoot, and the same goes for Papagiannis.

Yep. Spotlight on him definitely. He's the one that can be given the keys to rotation minutes. Hopefully another IT late 2nd steal

Nice to hear about the defensive foundations.

Sounds like Joerger is coming in without many assumptions with the new guys, more of a this is how the program works, learn it.

Elston brought up that the guys who don't buy in basically need to go.

Hungry tough guy philosophy.

Maybe they'll be a bit like the 96 Kings, probably the last scrappy team we've had.

Many expect it to be a couple of years before he is ready to contribute a whole lot. Don't expect to see Porzingis 2.0 or a fast Sabonis in summer league lol.

If he has the stamina to go for 10 minutes without a break, runs the floor well, sets some good screens I'd call it productive.

And Kosta will most likely still be here next season, as I don't think we will get the value we want in a trade, so he might not play anyways right away

As long as we get something serviceable at the pg in a trade, and I Cousins shows something in summer league to be the third guard I'm fine with that.

Or a deadline deal.

Should be no rush to move KK yet, but if you can get that second guard on a multi year deal I'd say take it today.
