I am hoping that Cousins doesn't resign with NOL so you guys can throw a gigantic suck it to all these posters. Haven't seen the official trade yet as there are multiple reports, but i think if its 2 first rounders that SAC got a decent return for a rental. (i also like heild).

We were offered a similar package for Brook Lopez.

Frazier, Evans, Galloway, 2017 1st with protection. Most of our board hated it. The Nets rejected it.

You can make the argument our offer was slightly better. Frazier is a better player than Galloway and Hield right now. I've been rooting for you guys to finally return to the postseason. I'd love to see a Kings/Warriors rivalry one day. I don't understand why your owner doesn't want to win the right way.

I'm struggling to find any upside here.

-If you want to clean house, WHY WAIT UNTIL HALF THE SEASON IS OVER WITH A GAME AND A HALF OUT OF THE PLAYOFFS? They could have tanked all season long and assured themselves of a pick without dashing hopes for the season. Now, I could understand them wanting to sell tickets for half the year before losing that potential revenue, but if that was the case, that is such a "**** you" to the ticket buyers.

-Is this the best deal? Boston had more picks. There is better young talent than Buddy. Hell, they might have gotten Love from the Cavs, or a deal with NYC, or Chicago, or anybody with an allstar calibre player that could sell tickets even if they don't stick around. Is anybody telling me they couldn't have gotten Butler?

-This team gave away IT and DMC for nada. Two allstars for NOTHING. I'm really trying to find reasons to keep watching NBA basketball.

You fans have my sympathy. This is a pretty bad return esp. if the 1st from the Pelicans has restrictions on it. I find it hard to believe a better deal could not be found closer to the deadline.

It would be nice if someone can give a comprehensive breakdown of our draft pick situation. I get confused with talks about losing a pick to Chicago, Philly, etc. What is our draft pick situation now? Is there any bright spot to this trade in regard to getting multiple lottery guys this year?

The Kings just gave away 2 all stars in Cousins and Isaiah Thomas in a span of 3 years. And got absolutely NOTHING for them.

Philly has first dibs on a pick swap with us no matter what the pick is. If they want to swap picks with us they get the opportunity no matter if it falls into where Chicago would get our pick.

If we draft after 10 Chicago gets our pick IF Philly does not want to swap with us.

If Chicago does NOT get our pick this year the protected pick turns into a second rounder for them next year no protections.

It's not a great return, BUT also it's not like we were winning.

Not a single .500 season with Boogie.

Not even close.

Forget about what we got for him, and focus on the rationale for a trade in the first place. If you can't acknowledge even a slice of legitimate rationale for getting rid of him, then you've been purposely oblivious.
