I don't know, I think the DRob comps are hitting a little too close to home. David Robinson was the type to put up some unreal numbers but always seemed to look a bit more average, or give up even more when matched against similarly talented bigs. He played well against Mccoy the other night but just single handedly vaulted him into the top 10 on some mocks.

I'm a fan of Mikal Bridges for us especially if our draft position holds in the same area as it is now (8-10)

Isn't he a 2/3? I think we should be targeting a big man in this draft.

I love Hield/Bogdan going forward as a nice duo on the wings. I really want to see Jacksons progression as well.

Up front im not really sold on anyone moving forward except WCS. If Giles or Skal become a nice bench piece ill be pretty happy. My expectations for Papa are non existent.

We really need to bolster the front court. Id be more in favor of grabbing Miles Bridges

I can see that. Mikal has just been proving he is the better player in that range and I don't have enough confidence in any of our young guys except Mason to skip a player because of position.

If we were to go with a big man in the 7-10 range I'd look for Miles' teammate, Jaren Jackson Jr. instead.

Ranadive went all in on Buddy Hield could he do the same with Trae Young?

Or would he back Fox in and not draft a PG.

This is a scary thought for sure. I seriously think you go BPA at this point. We don’t have a sure fire star right now. If Young is the BPA, then draft him.

Does Jaren project to have 3pt range in the NBA? One of the reasons I like Bridges is he is a combo forward who should be able to hit some NBA 3s. Plus I really think a big hole we have right now is nobody able to play 3/4, Jackson is a bit thin for that role moving forward. I love the versatility he brings.

Agreed that right now we need to take BPA to a certain extent. Id rather now draft a 1 or 2 if theres a big man in the draft who projects to be a similar level of player. All that does is create another situation where we don't give our former picks a chance to develop properly.

Jaren Jackson looks like he could be a solid NBA player. He looks like Tristan Thompson with a better spot 3 to me. Miles Bridges is a potential star in the making.

The again there is always the question of BPA at the NBA level, or college level? I think the Kings have some serious upside with Fox as the future PG and Mason as a solid backup. I wouldn't mess with that and I don't think Vlade will either.

Fox will never be like Steph Curry.... De'Aaron brings different value... So with that said if you can draft the next Steph Curry you do it... Odds are the top of the draft won't have a better player than that.

The Kings already traded for him, his name is Buddy.

Touche´

Vivek could have TWO Steph's. I finally figured out what NBA 3.0 is: 3 STEPH'S!

I think we should consider the option of trading out WCS for picks while he is worth something. May be add him to our 1st rounder to get top3 2018 pick and draft Ayton or Bagley.

May be not in one trade. WCS for lottery pick, then use 2 pics and something else to move up.

No doubt in my mind Willie nets a 1st. Lotto pick his hard to sell but mid to late 1st is an easy yes for those teams. Come on now.

Yeah, I don’t see how WCS doesn’t net a first. He is a talented dude. I still think he could be a starter on a playoff contender. He just needs the right personnel around him. As of right now, he is one of the Kings’ top-3 players. He needs to be the 5th to be successful. He could be a top rim-runner if he put his mind to it.

Eeeeh find me a team that needs a big first, then one that is willing to move a first for a big, and then of those ones one that will actually target Willie who hasnt proved himself to be a rotation player for a good team yet

I mean, it's an easy no-go for me.

I'm not the biggest WCS fan, I'd prefer to trade him too but I think you're really undervaluing what he can bring. He's been the difference in a few of our wins this year when he was locked in and playing like a monster. He's a little inconsistent but no doubt he would net a mid-late 1st, somewhere from 16-25. He's averaging 11/6/2 with a block and a steal in 25 minutes per game with a PER of 17.2 so I could definitely see Milwaukee being interested, Washington could use him, I could even see Minny giving up that OKC pick for him.

Now, I do think we'd add some minor sweetener, someone like Malachi Richardson, maybe one of the vets but still I think Willie could get a first.
