And it doesn't make it any more beneficial to the team moving forward. Cutting loose young players isn't what you want to do, you want to be able to at the very least remove their number from your cap. The Kings didn't even do that with Papa.

They tried.

Sam Amick is one reporter in particular that said the Kings have made both Richardson and Papa available.

I doubt they asked for anything in return especially when looking at what they got for Richardson.

I commend Vlade for making the move. The only thing Papa would have done moving forward is take up Coaches time and occupy a roster spot.

Now if Papa was the only pick from 2016 then I would be pissed.

Take a gander on the GB, there is no changing minds about it to begin with. The battle was already lost.

Could careless about people opinions of the team decisions that don't watch us regularly.
