It certainly is. If you remember when he was taken out of the starting line-up. I think it was the first 2 possessions he defended it was like he held his hands behind his back. Like the coaching staff are telling him to move his feet, lead with your chest etc. It looked really weird. But it felt like he was sending a message to the coaches.
He isn't near as bad on D as what he was earlier last season. It's probably just his missed rotations or defensive plays that are bad, are really bad.
