Not everything shows up on the statsheet. Ron has also mostly played great D, and as soon as he went out the Lakers went on a spurt to end the quarter.

Yes, but as long as he makes this game about his personal feud with Kobe, we're going to lose.

We had a 9 point lead with Artest. Without Artest, we're now down 2.

Are you even watching the game?

Are you watching? The lead evaporated when Mikki Moore went to the bench, not Ron.

Shelden Williams sucks, I'm sorry. He's just not a very good basketball player.

We're still getting beat even with Mikki in, yet no Artest.

Unjustified hate for a player like Artest who does nothing but work hard and plays his heart out really gets under my skin.

I share the same sentiment, but he's needed to move the ball more in the situations he's been in so far.

Kobe was barely guarding him, and he was doing a great job of guarding Kobe.

You know Ron, he wants to have better numbers than Kobe.

Oh yeah, despite the fact that he's never said anything like that, I totally know.

What's nice about Ron is that he's a very unselfish player, He has an exceptionally high basketball IQ.

So because not everything he says is reliable, it means that if he doesn't say something, that it must be true?

No, but it doesn't make it false either.

A couple of things.

1) The talent disparity here is too great for us to get outworked. Frankly we're lucky to be this close and we need to want this more if we're going to win. Most specifically, the rebounding difference is just far too great.

2) We need to run things more efficiently, and yes, Ron has had a poor game offensively so far. But we also just need to make more shots. Salmons has been really invisible so far, and that's going to need to get better.

3) We need to defend better. We're holding them to a low percentage, but only because we're fouling a lot. A lot of this is scouting--we need to generally play back more IMO, but obviously not on certain guys (like Radmonavic, for example).

The Kings sideline reporter says a little too much to this blonde.
