I think part of it is just that last year was his first opportunity to get consistent minutes so it took some getting used to, and I think more experience alone will help a little in his assist/TO ratio. But he also just doesn't have great court vision, I guess.

He is a good enough ball handler and is a very good passer, but he tends to dribble into traffic and lose the ball, he turned the ball over on numerous occasions by trying to force his way through traffic.. This can and will be corrected.

Yeah that's what I remember too, I just couldn't find a more generalized way to word it.

I was really hoping we'd get DeMarcus Nelson to be apart of the team but he must have gone somewhere else. It's interesting to see we got Palacios, but I doubt he'll do anything spectactular. I really liked Dowdell from VT, he led the team in scoring as a sophmore up until his senior year. I think he can do a few things in Vegas...but not enough to make the team, maybe the preseason roster. Does anybody think Ewing will make the team?
can we just get a new arena already...

Nice to see Juan Palacios on the team. Nice hustle/defensive big. Can even D up the SF position here and there.

Wow, this summer league roster is really weak. The young guys really have get at it. I am talking about Williams, Hawes, Thompson, Ewing Jr., Singletary and Douby. Douby should be on a mission, this may be his last chance to shine. Summer league and training camp are really important for him.

I was hoping to see Aaron Bruce on the SL roster.
I thought he might develop into a decent 3rd string PG. Someone who shares the ball well and doesnt care too much about his scoring. Maybe his D is too weak tho.

I can't wait to play Portland. Hawes vs Oden, Thompson vs Aldridge. Put the future dynasty to the test

I love summer league, it always brings out the homer in me.

I disagree because of this guy...

16 Zabian Dowdell G 6-3 190 09/10/1984 Virginia Tech R

http://www.draftexpress.com/profile/Zabian-Dowdell-472/

Tough, athletic, very long combo guard on both ends

He was one of the guys I really would of liked to get with a 2nd rounder last draft (along with Demetris Nichols, Chris Richard). He may well not make the team, or come back in October, with the guards we have - but just in general, I want to see him play, ultimately I want to see him succeed in this league as a nice role-player, and as another undrafted success story. I think there is a spot for him somewhere in an NBA rotation in the near future.

Hey Kings fans, I am a visitor from the Washington forum. Wanted to weigh in on Singletary. Saw him play a lot because DC is ACC country. I also him play during the summer @ Georgetown Univerisity @ the Kenner league. He is lighting quick and is a decent scorer. I think the reason he was not a first round pick was because his size. I also think his shooting percentages went down this past year becuase UVA needed him to score a lot in order to stay in games. He could be a solid 3rd PG the next couple of years and maybe even develop into a solid # 2 down the road. I think you'll will enjoy watching him play.

Article about the first Kings summer practice, interesting note:

* Shelden Williams looks a few pounds lighter.

Yeah, that's good to hear that he is making an effort to lower his weight. This improvement should be very positive for him. More mobility, better defensive rotations, and etc. He is going to prove the doubters wrong. I have a feeling that he will surprise us.
