Malachi has to play 40 minutes if the Kings have hope of winning a single game in summer league.

For all you Wade Baldwin fans, Jimmer just lit him up for 26 points.

So who is starting at PF next season? Tolliver? I like Skal, but may not be ready yet. WCS has been bad, will see how it goes

Damn that's saying a lot my friend... And he's a good shot blocker as well

You are overreacting, man. WCS should be the starter. He looks a whole world differently playing next to Cousins, you think we run the offense through him a fraction of what we're doing in SL? It's Summer League, this is where he gets to try those things and see what he can and can't do. DMC will make the game much easier for him.

Didn't get to see the game, but apart from the shooting WCS filled up the stat sheet on the defensive end.

Tolliver on paper is a great compliment to Cuz so I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him as the starter if Joerger thinks Willie as that combo big off the bench makes more sense.

Sees the floor, runs the floor, looks like he is thinking about what he should be doing frequently. Has the basic places on the floor where he should be covered. Does tiny things well fundamentally like leaving space for people to clear screens, positioning himself well for a pass, conscious of when he is standing in the key to avoid 3 sec, athletic for bulk and length.

Half hook looks efficient if he either rebounds or passed to where its an instant shot.

Post game looks slow and bullish, so maybe the strength will translate, but its not serviceable yet most likely.

Seems alert and aware on the floor in general, meaning Joerger should be able to reach this guy over time.

Fundamentally sound enough to replace Koufos day 1.

He looked alright to me. I also liked how he covered some pick and roll. His mobility gives the Kings more options there than Koufos does. Koufos is stronger as a rim defender it appears however.

I know I sound like a record (and this will be the last time I say it), I'd like Skal getting comfortable with big minutes. If he arguably has the most upside might as well see what he can do or if he's ready or not. Just giving him bench minutes might limit what we see. Just for a game or two. We will see
