Exactly, pretty sure most of us have Cousins' back, and everyone wants Westphal fired. You're mostly reading the select few fans from other teams that are posting in this thread hating on cousins and throwing out ridiculous trade offers.

Why the FUDGE would I wanna coach for a fanbase like this?

I think those things are just signs that they will not promote or advertise him until things are settled .

This is really childish IMO even if Cousins acts up or whatever PW as a coach should not be handling the issues as he has . He should have more class clearly he does not .

What I don't get is, Westfail is clearly gone after this season (if he even lasts that long). Why continue to waste another season if he's not going to stick around? Just fire him and see what Smart can do.

From day 1, I told you guys that paul westphal isn’t good coach for my boy demarcus cousins, I expect sooner or later since last year that cousins will demand a trade if the kings brass stick on westphal as kings head coach. Westphal isn’t a good coach and don’t even had a damn “system”. kings players getting their points using individual talents, what kind of system is that? that’s not an easy job for a young players especially they don’t have veteran superstar on their team. calipari isn’t a good coach too but hes definitely better than westphal to handle cousins. Calipari wants cousins to play inside all the time in kentucky, no outside shots, no force shot, the outcome 53% fg. Strict coach with good system will help cousins, that’s for sure. as cousins big fan im happy that my boy cousins demand a trade.

FOR THE RECORD, Cousins was among several kings players who expressed frustration with the team’s poor play. Tyreke is also unhappy with westphal offense.

I like detriot, phily or Washington for cousins destination.
My 1st choice destination for cousins was Detroit, I like the potential of Cousin, Monroe, Knight young trio, not to mention that joe dumars like cousins.

My 2nd choice is phily, strict coach doug Collins is perfect coach for cousins, collins can maximize cousins talent, I also like the mack and jeff tandem of cousins and unselfish jrue holliday.

And my 3rd choice is Washington, no need to explain. Cousins and john wall together again.

Two options, get behind the coach who will lead us no where or fire him and support a franchise player like Cousins. We know what the answer is. Just hope its sooner than later.

Agreed . But that said if you put Smart as coach and he is not the guy you truly want as a head coach if your Petrie & the Maloofs then by putting Smart as roll of head coach and then not have him as head coach next season then your saying to him you dont have faith in him as a head coach .
If you are the Kings and you put Smart as your coach you better be prepared to keep him around long term.
I am not sure Smart is the answer I would look into Jeff Van Gundy or someone of his caliber .

Wow. I miss 1 day of Kings news and turn on the computer to see this. Completely mind-boggling. I know this season has been rough but Cousins and Westphal both need to show more maturity than this.

If Cousins didn't formally request a trade through his agent then why would Westphal go public as if he did? Just because Cousins says something in the heat of the moment it doesn't mean you send him home and do a press release.

I hope cooler heads prevail and we continue to build around this young core.

Yeah I had forgotten to mention the thing about the intro video earlier. That's certainly not a good sign.

I will say this .

1. It will be very telling if he is or is not traveling with the team or not on our next 2 road games .
If he is not then we truly have a very serious issue IMO . I do however believe he will be with the team .
Tommorow is another day we should know alot more tommorow .
I wonder if DMC is tweeting anything in reguards ? I doubt it as he was probally warned not to do so.
