This just makes me more and more certain that there was some really bad stuff going down in that locker room. The three amigos - Cousins/Barnes/Omri - are gone. Shipped out for a pack of #2 pencils and two erasers and what might turn out to be a really good sharpener.
I just can't get over this feeling - especially after listening to Vlade fall on the sword to cover Vivek's known incompetent interference - that something was done or said in the past 5-7 days that was PERSONAL in some way (word; honor; violation of inside agreement) that made Vivek do a 180 on his stance about Cousins.
It just has that kind of a feel. And don't forget that Vivek comes from a very different culture from most of us where ones word in business and especially personally has a lot more weight.
I just read a post that intimated there might have been some kind of agreement that they weee sending Cuz to the closest franchise to his hometown area.
I think it is FAR more likely that Barnes is taking the fall for Cuz in the NY night club thing and that there is more truth to that than we thiught so he and his partners are getting the fast train out because he overstepped some line none of us will never know about.
