Oh man, that is the perfect fantasy right there. We still get a top 3 pick without having to swap AND the Lakers lose their pick? Yes please

This would be so anti NBA a movie would have to be made if the Lakers got screwed while the Kings got rewarded.

Okay we are still currently having the 7th worst record .
We did gain 1 game on Orl due to their win & our loss .

The only real important team that helps us win today is Portland .
Kings have 18 games remaining . 9 Home 9 Away .

In the Western Conference We are currently :
4 games back of the 8th seed via Denver
3 games back of the 9th seed via Portland
2 1/2 games back of the 10th seed via Dallas
1 1/2 games back of the 11th seed via Minny
We the Kings are in the 12th seed 1/2 game ahead of New Orleans for the 13th seed

As far as the East goes the closest immediate teams are as follows :

We the Kings are 1/2 game ahead of NY
We are also 1 1/2 games behind Orl
We are also 1 1/2 games behind Philly ( though we are rooting for Philly to lose )

We have pretty much no chance of catching the Nets , Lakers & the Suns
I don't think we will pass Philly
We could pass Orl and New Orleans at some point
2 teams we are ahead of the concerns me is NY & Minny as Minny has 7 Home games vs. 12 Away games remaining .

New Orleans keeps the pick if they jump into top 3. Philly only has swap rights with our pick though.

This and Philly swap only applies to the Kings pick. Pelicans pick, where ever it falls, is not eligible for swaps.

If the Kings end up with two picks around 5-9, give me one of Dennis Smith or Malik Monk with one pick, then either Jayson Tatum or Miles Bridges. If the Kings can leave the draft with 2 of those 4 I'd be feeling pretty good about the way the Kings are set up for the post-DMC era.

Malik Monk? I really don't want him, he looks like Lou Williams 2.0 for me.

For me I would prefer Ntikilina/DSJ from Point Guards and Markannen/Isaac, maybeee Tatum with other pick.
Celtics fan.
We also face the Kings twice in the near future. I think it's time Yabu pays back some of that free money he's been given his entire career and bounces Fox for a nice 2 week ankle sprain.

Lou Williams 2.0 is more appealing to me than a potential Dante Exum 2.0 (what I fear Ntikilina might be). Monk just looks like the better NBA prospect to me so far.

Hell nah, Ntikilina is already better shooter than Exum is right now and Frank has great mechanics, seriously everytime I watch Exum shoot the ball, almost every shot looks like it's with different form, his mechanics is broken real bad...

When you have some time, watch this full game, imo one of his best games as a pro, on both ends, especially on offense.

Today's teams winning that most benefit us to keep our top 10 protected pick are :

ORL
MINN
DEN
DALL
WASH

We are currently having the 7th worst record

We are currently 4 games behind Denver
3 1/2 games behind Portland
3 games behind Charlotte
2 1/2 games behind Dallas
1 1/2 games behind Minny
1/2 game behind NY
These are teams we want to stay behind :

We are in front of the following teams though we would like to get behind these teams are :

New Orleans in front by 1/2 game ( I am fine being in front of them for now however I think we are better off eventually being behind them . IMO giving us a greater chance of keeping their # 1 pick and giving us a greater chance at a higher pick of our own and keeping our top 10 protected pick .
ORLANDO in front by 1 1/2 game
PHILLY in front by 1 1/2 game

I do not see us ending the season with worst records than . Brook , Lakers & Suns . If we do not want to pass Philly I think as far as end of the season records go the best anyone can hope for is Philly to end the season with the 3RD or 4th worst record and us the 5th. For our benefit New Orleans ending the season just slightly better than us as far as records and they end the season with the 6th -7th worst record .
It would be Huge for us if Orlando passes us and we end the season slightly behind New Orleans .

We have 18 games remaining . 9 Home 9 Away .

I now think we are safe to end the season behind Mil & Mia as we are 5 1/2 games behind them .

To be clear, I was only saying exactly about the glut of SGs, not the criticism of Frank. Love the kid!

Ofcourse that post was my answer to OhioKingsFan, why Ntikilina is not similar to Dante Exum. :)

Not a great game but if 5-6 teams are dumb enough to let Miles Bridges get passed them then the Kings better say their thanks, select him, and move along. He's got the chance to be a really good 2-way player.

Oh, and I hope Fox doesn't jump up the draft with his recent play. I'd take him over Smith any day of the week.

Yeah for the reasons you stated I don't really see any Exum in him besides his size.
