Varying--both with fans and front office, I believe.

Co-signed. Don't see how he goes 5th, but could end up being on the Kings roster by the end of the draft.

Never know with the draft. How certain was it that Rubio was going to drop to #5 last draft?

forgive me if this has already been posted but after watching this I would be VERY happy to get DCous if I were a Kings fan. John Thompson said it best "we need more bulls and less butterflies in this league"

That video is awesome. The way he was displayed in that video is how I've actually pictured his personality I hope the video is accurate and not a media fluff piece to try and change his image.

By Wednesday we knew, obviously we weren't live yet, but our connects with teams and players told us how the top five was going to shake out at. Obviously Flynn at six turned some heads since they'd just taken Rubio.

If this is true they would have done the Nocioni/Prince swap. Just think the Kings realize they're 2/3 years out so compiling assets is important.

Yeah, but what did they do anyway? They traded for a player that fills a need, even moreso than Prince and gave away a young player to do it.

So by Wednesday, do you think you'll know who the Kings will pick?

By Wednesday we hope to know what will happen at number five.

With that being said, their was much closer to a consensus for Tyreke (in the people we speak to) than there has been with Cousins, Monroe, Whiteside or Udoh.

Well Im still gonna hold out hope that the Kings primary target is Monroe

This seems like a great young up and coming team to me.... Please please trade down with Detroit...

Evans/32- Terrico White
Daye/36-Willie Warren
Green/Casspi
Thompson/Monroe
Dalembert'/Monroe

As for Whitseside, Im actually not high on him at all but the Kings seem like a really good drafting team.

You got nothing to offer the Kings to entice them to move down. You're going to have to settle for Monroe, Aldrich or Udoh for your big men or add another tweener forward in Aminu.

Sucks, but Stuckey has little value to the Kings(he's a poor man's Evans). Jerebko and Daye replicate both Greene and Casspi for us. Ben Gordon's contract is awful. We like Beno and Cisco and there contracts are too bad at this point so that makes deal those two guys for Prince a non-starter. So, bottom-line there is really no way to incentivize a trade with the Kings unless you were to move Gordon and/or Prince to a 3rd team for other picks and prospects that the Kings deem valueable.

Pistons wouldnt even offer Prince to move up so its beyond doubtful that they'd offer Gordon or Stuckey.

And I know Kings REALGM fans are highest on Cousins but thus far I havent read anything to suggest that Cousins is the consensus pick at 5.

There is no consensus, Petrie plays very close to the vest.

Cousins, Moroe, Whiteside and Udoh are all "in the mix"

Also, if we trade down and get Austin freakin Daye, I will break something.

I think the pistons have to give up Gordon or Stuckey for kings to consider this.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

If we trade down, Gordon would be a nice fit alongside Tyreke, though his ball handling isn't amazing.

Info is almost certainly from the ESPN article. Nowhere in it does he say he doesn't want to play in Sac.

Also, if he really didn't want to play here then he wouldn't have worked out for us. He did the same to the T'Wolves so it's already been done and, realistically, it's hard to imagine a player going through a workout and saying "I don't want to play for this team"
