Watching Eurobasket, I'm leaning to believe that he cannot play SF in NBA even though his size. He's more likely a player who runs the offense, and defends a PG or SG. No way he can cope with the strength of SFs.

I think the Kings will probably use switching a bit more if they go small so he'll be guarding multiple positions. I watched his games in Turkey and he guarded PF's in the post off of switches and didn't get overpowered too easily. Time will tell. If he can't play SF that will potentially severely impact his chances getting a full time role with the Kings at this point.

He had 10 straight points for Serbia in the 4th, scored 8 points in 30 seconds which got Serbia from 60:61 to 68:63 and essentially finished them game

As a fenerbahce fan, i am still grieving his departure. If we kept him this year, we would be the clear favourite for euroleague title by a good margin now that real madrid lost sergio llull and cska moscow lost milos teodosic. Sacramento must be lucky to have him. Just give him a chance and he wont let you down.

If he plays better than Buddy he will get plenty of time. It will take time as I doubt he knows the Kings system but he is hitting largely contested looks. If he gets open looks off penetration from the point he could replace Buddy as the starter at 2.

It's a dangerous proposition to have two of your top building blocks fighting each other for positioning if that's that case. One player loses, the other probably suffers at some point, and the franchise loses as well because you just devalued one of your key pieces if not both in the process. They have to be able to play together for this to work to it's fullest potential.

It was not assumed at all but I think it might be the case. The good thing is we can deal them easily because of their contracts.

I believe that the possible emergence of Bogdan Bogdanovic in his rookie season could enforce the trade of George Hill as a first move. Considering the different combinations of outcomes on our backcourt, I can see that Kings really positioned itself very well whatever Fox, Hield and Bogdan would become.

I'm a little more convinced in the upside of Bogdan vs. Hield, so I see Hield as a 6th man anyway.

From The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor on his sleepers for ROY:

With all eyes on Fox, Justin Jackson, and Harry Giles, the Kings’ fourth first-round rookie, Bogdanovic, isn’t getting nearly enough attention. Bogdanovic was a Euro-stash after being drafted 27th by the Suns in 2014. He’s been hidden for years.

FIBA EuroBasket isn’t popular in the U.S., though Bogdanovic is helping carry Serbia in this year’s tournament, averaging 19.7 points. Hield’s emergence to close last season has fans more excited about what they already know. No one took Sacramento GM Vlade Divac seriously when he called Bogdanovic “definitely [the] number one player in Europe” in 2016 after trading for him on draft night. Divac’s statement was hyperbolic, but Bogdanovic is indeed one of the top European prospects. He was the back-to-back EuroLeague Rising Star in 2013-14 and 2014-15, and he’s since become the leading scorer on Fenerbahce, a team filled with former NBA players like Gigi Datome, Ekpe Udoh, and Jan Vesely. Bogdanovic, 25, is well seasoned and has loads of big-game experience. Plug “Bogdan Bogdanovic clutch” into YouTube and you’ll be flooded with videos of ice-cold game winners.

Bogdanovic’s limitless range, advanced shooting stroke, and lack of a conscience give him a baseline for success. But he’s capable of more. Last season Bogdanovic was a central figure of Fenerbahce’s heavy pick-and-roll attack. With a diverse scoring skill set, Bogdanovic has developed accordingly as a secondary playmaker. At 6-foot-6 with long arms, Bogdanovic has a length advantage that enables him to make some tough passes.

Watching him play in the Eurobasket I wonder how Phoenix gave him up for Chriss not to mention the 13th, 28th and a 2nd round pick.

he is always clutch, and performed great in Eurobasket as I already projected before the tournament. Sadly, we have just 96 minutes for Hill, Fox, Hield and Bogdanovic at all.

What amazes me about Bogdanovic is his ability to play great defense and at the same time he can be ball-handler, spot up shooter, ISO guy , whatever. He is very useful player and he really improved his stamina also, only thing where I do not see improvement is his jumping ability, he must work on better vertical jump and that is where I expect Sacramento experts will help , as he is still ,we can say, a young player.
It will be very interesting to see him in the final game where he will probably play as PG as a starting PG Jovic twisted his ankle. He will have to play against Dragic maybe on both sides of the floor.

I wouldn't expect him to see a major jump in his overall athletic ability. He kind of is what he is. He makes up for it somewhat with length however.

If Bogdanovic can play some at PG, SG, and SF then it will ease the burden for sure. If not it's a cluster F with disappointment waiting to happen written all over it. I really hope Joerger buys in and goes with Fox, Hield, and Bogdanovic at some point to see how it works.
