You guys realize you now have the most mentally fragile big man trio (Daly, Cousins, Whiteside) in professional basketball history?

I wanted a shooter but I know GP wanted Whiteside so it was a great pick. Lucky he fell that far.

Wow, Daly and Whiteside. Two of the best shotblockers in the NBA? Whiteside needs to spend some time in the D-league, I doubt he plays much.
All of a sudden we might be the most physically imposing team in the league. Wow, just wow. Hope Brockman still comes back, we'll be totally brutal.

I seem to remember this Israeli kid named Omri Casspi being a pretty good shooter.

Yeah, and a frontline that will bash other teams right in the vagina.

Yeah they may be emotional wrecks and weep during a good chic flick but they'll block the S*** out of everything that comes near the rim.

Dude. Whiteside was arguably a lotto pick and we got him in the 2nd round. You should be partying right now like the rest of us. I can't imagine how hard mitch must be partying right now in Vegas.

I'm betting that Mitch is passed out face down in a chick's lap thinking that she's a hot showgirl dancer...but is actually a guy named Bruno who's the bouncer at the bar.

You understand that Petrie was probably considering Whiteside at the 5th pick right. If we ended getting the say 7th or 8th pick, I could easily have seen Petrie drafting him in the 1st round.
We can address shooting easily (ie sign Reddick) or next year. Petrie has always shown he can draft shooters. We have never been able to draft physically tough bigs.
BEST DRAFT EVER

Hope he brought a good wing man to prevent just that...

He's a pretty good start, though. I would actually rather bring in a vet FA supporting guy as that shooter than try to pick one. Shooters who will play a supporting role are a dime a dozen i the league, but talented bigs are much harder to find.
