Likely my last post for a bit as I do not want to blow up this board / thread !

Char can outright absorb Bagley and it wouldn’t be the first time we fleeced them for a first rounder.

Include our top 2nd (39 I think) and get their mid round first back. Combine 9/CHAR (16?)/22 may we’ll be enough I move up significantly.

Be willing to take on Love and I am certain we could nab 3.

If it meant we got Mobley, I would happily eat Love's deal. I'm super high on Mobley though and I think he's going to be the best player from this class. A core of Fox/Hali/Mobley is my dream scenario.

Man...don't get my hopes up. I'd be really, really surprised if we were able to move up to 3.

I'm honestly just excited about the potential Lakers deal. I think Kuzma's underrated at this point and Harrell can fill a roll or they can try to move him for cap space, but my main excitement is adding the #22. I hope they take a flyer there. I doubt Ziaire Williams makes it that far, but I'd love to take a gamble on him just not at #9.

Yeah, I doubt we're able to move up to three but I'd be really happy to pick up #22. Trey Murphy is clearly my guy in that range but I think he ultimately ends up in the mid teens. I'd take a look at JT Thor with that pick too.

#22 is right near the end of that really large tier of interesting prospects. I'd love to get that pick and hope someone like Jalen Johnson or Ziaire fall to it.

The downside is that there appears to be a huge contingent of guards in the early-mid 20s to early 30s in this draft. If the non-guards get snatched up before 22 the Kings may end up choosing between a bunch of guys (eg Butler, Cooper, Springer, Mann) that would never have a realistic chance to start in the future.

I mentioned him early in the draft thread but if most of the wings are gone by that point, the guard I'd like to target is Joel Ayayi. I think he's going to be a solid player in the league and a guy I can see filling the same role Delon Wright does for us.

I’m happy as long as #22 is coming back for the Kings for. Buddy. Don’t care about the combination between Kuzma, KCP and Trez.

I wouldn't trade any future firsts or Fox or Hali, even to move up to #1. To get to #3 they would still need one or the other IMO

I hope Kuzma/Trez and 22 is legit

I disagree.

I am on the same page a Codydaze about Mobley.

I have felt all along that he is ultimately not only the best player that will come out of this draft, he is the almost entirely seamless fit as the impact inside guy we need alongside Fox and Hali.

I would have no problem packaging this years pick and next years or ‘23 unprotected and absorbing Love (an ideal mentor) to get Mobley.

And I am pretty sure that CLE is not getting that good an offer from anyone or they would have done it already.

It also avoids overpaying Richaun.

Then you still have the #22 and pieces to move if you want to trade up to the teens to target one of the wings. Re sign Davis for reasonable and run it.

Welp. If I'm LA I choose DeRozan over Buddy. I'm still holding out hope LA takes our deal

KCP will cost more this year and next so I want Harrell.

Ham reported that Holmes is looking for a deal in the $80 million range over 4 years. If that's the price, I honestly pass. That's too much for a player like him. I absolutely love Holmes but I will continue saying that, ideally, he is a first big off the bench that plays 20-25 minutes a game. You don't pay that player $20 million a year.

$17m is the highest I'd go and I have that as an overpay.

Im happy if he's somewhere in the $11-15m range.

No one is going to pay him that.

I think its 14-17 the market will allow

I think he will sign for 17 here

Whether Harrell will want to opt in is a sizable issue though

Would you still do it if its KCP? That makes it more convoluted as we would have to send more salary and I don't see the slots if we want cap to sign Holmes

Yikes. I like Holmes but not that much. That 4/80 contract is too rich for him.

If Harrell doesn't opt in today then yes I do the KCP version.

Three Team Trade.

Sixers send out: Simmons, Maxey, Thybulle and Hill. 2021 1st Rounder and 2023 Lottery protected 1st rounder
Sixers receive: Buddy Hield, Harrison Barnes, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Tony Bradley (sign and trade)

Kings Send out: Hield, Barnes, Bagley and 2021 1st Rounder
Kings Receive: Simmons, Thybulle and Hill

Thunder Send out: SGA, Bradley
Thunder Receive: Maxey, Bagley, #9 and 28 in 2021 1st round and sixers 2023 pick

Sixers upgrade their 1-3 positions adding SGA a real 3-level scorer in the backcourt + get a back-up big man to spell Embiid
Kings shake it up with Haliburton, Fox, Thybull and Simmons in the 1-4.
Thunder keep adding assets, while not mortgaging the future (essentially 5 1st round picks if you include Maxey and Bagley)

I don’t think they do.

For all DeRozan is a talent, he’s not that young and he still is not truly a 3pt gunner.

Buddy is and that is what they are missing for LeBron and AD to kick out to. They have guards that can create their offense mid range in. And defend. For a lot less money.

OKC would hangup. They'd consider trading SGA for a supertar or chance at one (high pick), but no way they do it for the #9 pick and a bunch of "meh" players.
