I've personally been against any trade proposed for #4 so far, being in the Ivey or I'll be upset camp. I'd do this one so fast. Keldon Johnson is such a baller.

I've completely dismissed 2nds on this team tbh, I can't remember the last one we even gave playing time to. Mr Pizza Guy Isaiah Thomas?

Not any significant playing time but Justin James, Kyle Guy, Jahmius Ramsey and Robert Woodard have all been some second round picks to get burn recently, they just haven't been very good. All about hitting on the right guy.

Most of those guys got very limited run. What bothers me is that when the Kings are down and out, we continue to play guys like Len over Quetas or Bazemore/Joseph over Justin James.

I actually liked James. I would have liked to see him get more opportunity. Not saying it would have went anywhere, but he gave effort on defense was athletic and showed a few flashes when he got minutes.

I blame our development. Miami is plucking undrafted guys and turning them into quality starters, OKC seems to have found a few end of rotation guys out of thin air. When it comes to 2nd round picks, I'm more of a believer in the team than the player. Sure there's times you find Jokic, but more often than now we are just talking about developing a 7th-10th man. There are growing pains, but instead of winning those last few games I wish we would just let these guys soak up heavy minutes.

Agreed that development is a huge part of it as well. Hopefully with this new coaching staff we some changes in that department. And I think there's a lot of value in even finding a 7-8th man in the second round. They aren't all going to be starters but if you can find a a real contributor then that's huge.

https://sportsbook.fanduel.com/navigation/nba?tab=nba-draft

Jaden Ivey -210
Keegan Murray +155
Chet +2000
Mathurin +3000
Daniels +3000

Ivey still looks like the favorite on the books.

I guess its not just taking him for ourselves

WOJ backtracking on the top 3 being solidified. Saying that Banchero has a chance, maybe Vegas knew something?

No shot Houston passes on Smith, but id trade up to OKC if they don't love Smith!

And if we are selecting Ivey, it’s still going to be distasteful the kid doesn’t want to be here, regardless of talent

Part of being a fan is wanting to hear the kid you draft blow smoke up your booty

Presti either goes off the chain and takes Ivey or takes Smith hoping he’s the next Durant.

It's looking likely City.
Not long to go now and it's down to Jabari/Ivey. Obviously, Rockets go Jabari.

Good choice I think. Never will be a lock down defenders but he will put up 20
