OKC took both of Jalen and Jaylin Williams and I'm pissed. Loved both guys for Sacramento

Vivek prefers Cash considerations normally.

I mean, what a complete Sh&t show. Could have Hardy and EJ Liddell. Not that they're franchise changers, but they will both be good depth pieces.

Dallas has no incoming future 2nds.

They owe their 2023 2nd (OKC, Bos, or IND) and 2026 2nd (OKC or MIA).

Dallas is probably sending 2024 and 2025 2nds to Sac.

I know I said I don't care much for 2nds, but damn... you had two guys who were projected mid 1sts fall to you. Instead you trade the pick for 2 dallas picks that will be in the 50s 2 and 3 years from now?

At least take a **** swing man. Disappointing type of a day imo. Not the day I was expecting from Monte.

Well.. I'm feeling down guys. I thought I would be optimistic until at least Christmas. But I just don't see many ways for this team to improve much. Still some massive holes. No real cap space, no takers for Holmes. New coach, lame duck gm and the worst owner in all of sports. Another cycle of 5 years of hell for kings fans. Hate feeling this pessimistic but tonight was a fail imo.

Here's to hoping the NBA forces vivek out soon!

Yeah Monte is putting it all on the line that Luka is leaving in FA and the Mavs fall in a hole in 2028. LOL.
And if Monte is still here it means the Kings are in a good position so none of us will care, but in all reality, he isn't making that pick. Heck he might not even be making the other pick either. haha

To be honest, looking at the Western Conference, the only team I am 100% sure we will be better than next year is OKC. I cannot wrap my head around the Murray/win now gamble.

Well that was anti climatic, really hate moving these seconds for essentially nothing. My guy Procida went a pick before but Liddell and Hardy both being available for us is disappointing.

More than likely Monte identified a handful of players at 37 but eventually moved the pick because none were available.

I wonder why Liddell fell to 41? Medicals?

Ok. I'm going to try and remain positive. Murray is going to be really good.
I mentioned earlier, he feels like a Hali pick, good at most things but not great and not flashy so he doesn't get the hype.
He is going to be good right out of the gate and he will improve if we put the time in.
Will add things outside of the draft in the other threads.

Not a reach at all.

6'6 with a 7'2 wingspan. Shoots 46% on spot up catch and shoot threes (best in the nation). 48% on all catch and shoot (best in the nation). However his best stat is shooting 61.5% on contested catch and shoot jumpers (best in the nation). He's going to be a problem!

He's got a good handle coupled with good vision and passing ability. He was in the 89th percentile as a scorer and passer in the pick and roll (HELLO CHET!).

Williams has the size, athleticism, shooting ability, and IQ to become one hell of a player. I envision him becoming one of the better players in this draft. Like I said, I'm a big fan.
