Cousins/Hibbert doesn't work, Hibbert/Favors does.

Granger/10 > Harris/Favors IMHO

Granger has skills but he, like Harris, is in that 2nd star group. He's at best an all star reserve. You can't compare them directly as they don't even play the same position. You need a point and a big man! Unless you have GREAT wings like Wade/James on the same team it doesn't work. Granger is not in that class so I don't think he's a guy I'd build around.

I really thing Granger is on that frindge group of All-Stars tapping Superstar. Like, Brandon Roy.

Well ind hasn't really gotten better with granger...he plays no defense. I like the trade for ind. Favors and Harris make inds lineup a lot better.

Just you.

The front court of Brand/Hawes/Nocioni/Francisco Elson SCREAMS playoffs. They need frontcourt help more than we do. They have Iggy and Holiday. Turner is talented, but I don't see the fit nor do I see those guys being moved for good bigs.

It's hard to pass up talent like Evan Turner tho.

Pretty sure they have high hopes for Speights as a frontcourt player of their future.

It's draft day again!!! That means its time for me to crawl out from under my rock and contribute to the threads...been following everyones comments during the last month for the most part, and I'm always checking in from time to time so hopefully I can avoid mentioning something thats already been discussed, in case I do, my apologies.

So for the record, I'm with most of you who is banking on DMC @ 5. I must say though, I'm awfully nervous somebody will trade up and swoop him right before we pick. If so, I will be livid

hahaha sounds like me.
I keep an eye on the board every day, but I don't post until the draft.
I have a feeling we will have to pick between Johnson and Monroe.
But I do think we end up with either Favours or Cousins via trade.

My top 5 mock draft-

1) CONSENSUS PICK- Wall
2) Turner
3) Favors
4) Johnson
5) Cousins

Taking a crack at 6) Udoh

Well the warriors did say if the top five pick go as projected, they would take udon. That's why the pistons aren't trying to trade up anymore. Monroe is fine for them.

So are you saying we pass on Favors/Cousins @ 5 or that they'll be gone by then? I find it hard to believe if they are selected before we pick, that we can swing a trade with one of the top 4 teams who selected them.

Houston taking offers for 14th pick.
Would they be trying to trade down with Memphis or Thunder or could we get into the market for it as well.
What would they be looking for?

I'll take Cousins and Favors over Johnson, but Johnson over Monroe. Please take Cousins then trade up to get Bradley, and maybe Crawford at 33.

I just have a gut feeling they wont be there @ 5.
A trade T-Wolves were thinking of won't go through and we will trade with the the pups.

Second thought, it seems a possibility Minny takes DMC only because they know we want him; hoping to force us to take Johnson just so Minny can turn around and proposes a trade looking to come out of the draft better than if they had just chosen Johnson themselves. In that case would you guys take Johnson or Monroe?

Mistake by the Wolves if they do that. You don't mess with Petrie, he'll just take BPA and be done with it. Sounds more and more that if it is Johnson he'll take him. Sorry Wolves.

Thats how I was feeling. He'd be too insulted to try and work a deal with Kahn. I would take Johnson and then target another big in the middle of the first round where apparantly everybody is willing to move out of.

that is what I am thinking rwheeler.
Kahn might also be wanting us to use cap space/sams expiring in a 3 team trade to get rid of Al Jefferson somehow?
