Congrats man! My wife and I are expecting our first (girl) in the next week!

Crazy that Luka gets traded to the freaking Lakers, and Fox is going to be traded the same week. Bad week for a Kings fan, but at least good things going on at home lol

Congrats to you and your wife as well, man! This has been the most amazing thing in my life for sure. These first couple nights have been rough lol but man is it the most incredible feeling just looking at him.

Lavine is singularly better, just needs to stay healthy. Although this still leaves out Ellis starting…

An ode to the low motor, which is innate. When I first noted he was without one in his first couple years, where he would take a game “off” every few nights I knew Fox had a trait that would forever prevent him from being great

Hope he does well in San Antonio

This trade is terrible

The Charlotte pick is going to be two seconds.
Spurs pick 20ish or maybe worse.

Have to wait until 2031 for a who knows first.

Positive to get off Huerter salary.

Half of the seconds Vivek will want cash considerations.

Spurs had good picks, we got none of them, no young prospects either. We couldn't even get Sochan or Champagnie?

Assuming LaVine does stay healthy. We did improve our shooting. But we got fleeced man.

From a value standpoint, I don’t like it at all.

From the basketball standpoint, it will be interesting to see the Monk-at-PG show with Lavine and co. Stylistically, I wouldn’t be surprised if this team is more productive and much more fluid on O.

Still want to see another move or two tho.

He also costs 9 million more next season & will turn 30 soon. Plays worse defense and is a legit injury risk.

San Antonio use their least valuable assets to get Fox while getting off a contract they didn't want. Wow. Fleeced the Kings FO. Salt in the wound - Kings couldn't even get their swap back lmao.

Lavine makes a lot more money than Fox. He has a 50 million option in 2 years and will either use it because he can't stay healthy or will want a big extension like Fox. Lose lose for the Kings. I am happy for Fox who will win a championship with the Spurs in the near future. To not get any young players and those picks are a joke.

McNair needed to be fired BEFORE the Fox trade so he couldn't do even more damage to this franchise. Unfortunately, our own is a full moron and has no idea what he's doing or who needs to be hired that does know what he's doing. This is an embarrassing return for Fox regardless if he was only willing to go to the Spurs. McNair is just in way over his head. This idiot thought replicating the Bulls of the past few seasons was a worthy goal. Hopefully we'll receive enough deserved scorn for this trade that Vivek fires McNair before he can do even MORE damage but don't hold your breath. This is our plight as King's fans. Watch our team act as as farm system for other teams. Watch our idiot owners make awful hire after awful hire to keep us a laughingstock of the NBA. If Flagg gets drafted by the Wizards I'll adopt them as my team going forward since they have a competent young F.O., compelling young talent and will deserve more fans. I won't support this team any longer and won't even bother watching since it's pointless. I won't return until McNair is gone. Enough is enough.

Yeah, this one is a real headscratcher, can't imagine our FO not giving this swap up either. Hope one of your local reporters asks about it. Feels like Kings just forgot about it.

Lets get the treadmill turned on. I mean it is what it is with this organizations decision but good grief. Best asset we are getting is a potential good pick in 6 years from the Wolves lol. Joke of an organization.

So uhhh.. ya this sucks.

I mean lavine having an absolute insane season and I kind of love his fit with monk-sabonis. But man, even if we got our 31 1st instead of the Charlotte pick. We couldn't even do that.

I think this can still be salvaged.

Demar + spurs pick + Charlotte pick for cam johnson
McDermott or lyles + 4 2nds (using tpe) for toppin.

Monk/Carter
Lavine/Keon
Johnson
Keegan/toppin
Sabonis/lyles/Isaac jones

We still avoid the tax. But that's actually a team that makes sense. Add 2 premier 3pt shooters to a monk/sabonis squad. Space the floor, run run run

Lavine 2 firsts and 5 seconds for Fox is a good deal not sure what y’all are complaining about. We cleared a ton of space too. I fail to see how this is a bad deal.

The current kings organization doesn’t have a good track record with 2nd round picks. One of those first is far from now. Spurs had better picks and young talent and they were able to keep all of it.
I can hawk a loogie eight feet in the air and catch it with my tongue.
