And if Mike was in any way at all responsible for the teams lack of performance he wouldn’t be getting the job he’s getting

Fans always complain about the coach, and the same users complaining about him probably complained Joerger another decent coach we had and will probably complain if we get another good coach

He was one of the things the franchise had right, and that’s another ding to Vivek

Crazy how great of a value we thought we got for six months there.

3. Give that G.M. a 5 year contract and complete power to tear the team down to the studs
4. Trade everyone you can. Take back vets and showcase them for deadline trades. Get as many 2026 and 2027 draft picks as possible. Having multiple lottery picks in the all-timer 2026 draft could be franchise altering.
5. Tank in 2026, rinse and repeat showcasing vets for deadline trades and give young guys solid developmental minutes.
6. Let young guys drafted or acquired via trades all the minutes in 2027
7. Team should be back in contention with exciting young guys, cap space to go after surrounding cast and overall with a much better and more well-constructed roster in 2028

If we don't fire McNair there is literally no point watching or caring. Even if he was given the mandate of a rebuild I don't want him in charge of it.

What a disaster of an off-season. It's August 26th and the last of the rumors are we want to add Russ to the backcourt (Kuminga is pretty much dead at this point).

So the answer for this team was swap JVal, LaRavia, Lyles out for Schroder, Eubanks, and Russ. And we are all supposed to be excited they drafted someone at 24 and in the 40s lol.

Monte was awful, Scott might be worse. Unfortunately seems like neither is really in charge of squat, this is still Viveks trash blueprint. After years of being undersize- now we are undersized, have a ton of on ball players, and lack shooters.

Sabonis/Eubanks/Maxime
Murray/Jones
DeRozan/Nique
LaVine/Keon
Schroder/Monk

How moving DeRozan for any expiring wasn't a priority this off-season blows my mind. The sooner LaVine-DeRozan-Sabonis are gone the better off this team will be. Sadly Vivek isn't going anywhere so nothing is changing anytime soon.
