Somebody has been doing an awful lot of leaking for the Kings. If a big trade goes down, we'll know who the leak was!

Wondering how the decision to keep Karl might impact trade plans.

Or maybe letting George stick around is a function of those plans?

If the Kings found a trade they love for Demarcus Cousins that might make it a more feasible situation for both sides...

However, as a Bucks fan through our Karl years, granting George that kind of power over player personnel is a dangerous situation. For that matter Milwaukee still hasn't gotten over trading Ray Allen for half a season of ancient Gary Payton and a few sticks of gum.

Vlade should move forward as planned. IMO keeping Karl till the offseason is a PR move for future coaching candidates. It really gets no worse than this and Vlade stuck it out with Karl to try and right the ship.

If I'm Vlade the trades I attempt to make follow the vision I have for the team post-Karl.

Are you serious! Really...it gets no worse then this? Go ask the Philly, Laker, Brooklyn, Phoenix or even Pelicans boards if it can get worse...

What is this plan you think Vlade has? We don;t know what the front office is planning to. What we know is what reporters are speculating. I agree that any trades would have to be made with the future leadership and team professionalism being taken into account.

It gets no worse from a F.O. PR perspective.....

Haha I didn't say I knew his plan, I just said he needs to stay the course, whatever that may be... I'm assuming he knows which course he wants to take here.

It can absolutely get worse! The board isn't getting bombarded with "I told you so" or nonsense posts from Kings, Cousins or Karl haters like in the offseason. The national media isn't writing 3-5 negative Sacramento stories a day, just 1 or 2. Don't kid yourself, it can and probably will get much worse before this is over.

I took "Vlade should move forward as planned. IMO keeping Karl till the offseason is a PR move for future coaching candidates" as what you thought his plan was.

Fair enough if it wasn't. I think I had too much coffee today haha.

You say it can get worse, maybe we are looking at this from different lenses? My view is looking from Malone firing to present. No one has had it worse since then. Yeah Philly has lost more games but that's not what I'm talking about.....

Yeah too much coffee, been there lol

Yeah, I think you are thinking in terms no other team's PR situation being worse than ours in that time period. I was saying that the PR situation we are in now CAN and likely will get worse if we make a move from Karl in season. I cited those teams to show how there local stories PR drama has gotten worse as the year has gone on.

I think we are both right and that is...well, it is what it is. Gotta ride the wave.

Seems like information is always leaking out to the media, nothing ever staying in house, some of it true and some of it premature. I was asking if there has been any talk amongst the Kings Front Office about that?

I don't really know the answer to that to be honest .
I know a lot in terms of trade talk . I get a lot of info before it goes public etc. but I do not claim to know everything before everyone .
I have been here a lot lately . I am a very busy person whom is not on here nearly as much most of the time .
I like to try and give everyone info as I can . I am not interested in starting anything with anyone & I hope fort he same in return from others .
I would hope to be as trusted as possible but cannot make anyone trust me . I would rather not lie about a trade or goings on if I do not know the answer so to be truthful I do not know the answer about leaks anything I have ever mentioned has not had any affect on trades , coaches getting fired or not . Had that been the case my source would not continue to feed me the info .

Thoughts on Avery Bradley/Evan Turner/Jonas Jerebko for Rudy/Ben?

Really ? No .

You come on this board asking me about trades & rumors and you seriously ask that .

Don't ask me about trades or Kings / Celtics rumors between each other anymore .

I think you are right prophet. If not them, then media guys wanting to post THE STORY before something happens. Either way, I don't think that is something a lot of fans take into account when looking at how the team is perceived. Only really seen you and Trees address it on here, tho i'm sure I am leaving some posters out.

It's just a joke.. And you don't have to defend yourself so much when people question if you're legit.. You clearly have a real source, you don't need to worry about your credibility..

Philly? Lakers? No it can get MUCH worse, go ask a Kings fan what it was like when you desperately needed to tank and ended up with that pride draft slot and landed a Spencer Hawes or Jason Thompson. Either be bad or don't. But being bad at being bad is the lowest of the low.

Return to Sacramento Kings
