Re: Welcome Buddy Hield!
Pipedream, but Hield for Rodney Hood?
Hood is one of the one most versatile guards in the league as he can shoot, handle the ball, and play multiple positions.
Great fit for Sac Town. FYI, Hood in his first three years has a 5.5 offensive win share. In perspective, Bard Beal only had a 3.9 OWS after his first three years in the league. Admittedly, Hield could improve, but his -1.5 OWS this year is not a great start.
The Jazz may consider taking a chance on Hield given they cannot afford to resign Hood with Hayward's potentially massive deal coming on their books this offseason.
Just food for thought.

Joeger was desperate to draft Hood in Memphis but was overruled instead they took Jordan Adams who looked decent but was ravaged by injuries and is not Rodney Hood.

We just traded our franchise player for Buddy. There's absolutely no way we trade him for Rodney Hood.

I don't know about Curry, but those are numbers right in line with someone like Klay Thompson in effectiveness. Actually, even a little better as a shooter. I still think the next step is to play a little Buddy ball and where it goes.

If Buddy tops out anywhere between CJ McCollum and Klay Thompson-level player, I would be a very happy Kings fan.

Re: Welcome Buddy Hield!
I would be happy as well. Buddy can be as good as Klay if not better. His ball handling and shot creating is already much better than Klay's and he is matching him on the scoring efficiency. Yeah, I'm obviously high on Buddy as you have seen from the thread I've made about him in the GB. This man is such a joy to watch and his humbleness only makes him more likable. I'm so excited to see how he develops next season.

Notice what both CJ and Klay have next to them tho...an elite scoring point guard that will get you 25pts and 6ast on an avg day.

Hmm, who will be the elite scoring PG for the Kings?
Can we find him in the draft or through FA?
Darn those pesky questions.

Exactly! And I'm not even saying that we need one.
Just that those two players developed next one and their development and continued high level of play was influenced by their presence.

Gotcha.
I believe Skal can turn into a viable scorer at PF and those teams (Portland & Golden State), don't have a player like Skal at PF. Maybe, this means, we may not need an "elite" scoring PG after all. If that is the case, a guy like Fox would be a good get. Even then, I like Fox for this team regardless.

And not to mention Bogdanovic. He's got multiskilled ability. He can create for others and himself on the wing. He also plays good defense too. Fox represents perfect balance. Watch him go number 2 to the Lakers, haha.

Ok, what part do we need clarification on now?

No clarification is needed. I don't see a question. But I bolded the part I rolled my eyes at.

Not a thing.
Then quit spamming the board with nonsense. If you disagree that's fine but someone once told me to let that hate go!

It's hard when you try to constantly push you tired themes into other discussion they had nothing to do with to begin with. I know, I know, its a discussion board and you're expanding on the topic blah blah. Hard for me to let go at times. I'll try harder...

I think it might be time to step away from the board for awhile then, no reason to get heated. No hate on my end, I respect your opinion and I think we can both agree that the Kings are in a pretty good spot right now. Just wanted to add to KF10's point about others picking the slack like Skals scoring ability lessening the needs for any particular thing at another position and that the Kings have Bogdanovic who along with the others has some serious versatility to his game so it will make it that much easier for the Kings to put it all together.
