Yeah. I was surprised about that...He was hot until the 4th quarter... *Peja's weakness*

Peja always dominated the third quarter and disappeared in the fourth. Glad to see good ole Peja do the same ole act in same ole Arco Arena.

+1

i'm elated with this big win tonight. Imagine if we had this team on the floor all season. i was looking back through old threads and many had this very same team to finish well out of play-off's, some even in dead last place.

This starting 5 + a few guy's off the bench are much better than that & can beat anybody... if they come to play and have their heads in the game.

GO KINGS, cheers, fellow fan's; To a great second half!

SO, yet another giant bites the dust at Arco, eh? Lets see:

Pistons
Spurs
Mavs
Magic
Jazz
Rockets
Hornets

All of those teams (except the Hornets) were a Top 5 seed last year, and the Hornets are a top 5 seed this year.

Hopefully we can add the Lakers to the list when they come to town

Man, I can't believe I dosed off for this one :/

But, definitely pleasantly surprised to see we won when I woke up

Another balanced offensive game, by the boxscore. Ron, Kevin, Brad leading the way. And especially nice to see Mike have another well-rounded offensive game, the 6 rebounds are a bonus.

Did Paul get defended pretty well (scoring-wise), or just not hit his shots, or just not look to score much?

Fantastic win

Seriously, I think this team is up there with the Jazz/Nuggets/Rockets/Lakers

And better than the Blazers and Warriors now that we're pretty much healthy with our core. We've had, I believe, the 2nd toughest strength of schedule up to this point. We could really have a VERY strong second half of the season and make some noise as those other teams struggle with a tougher SOS in the 2nd half.

IIRC we had the 8th toughest schedule to date... Regardless, Reggie has been GREAT as coach...

Kenny Smith picked us as his surprise 2nd half team last night, BTW... so that's two former 90s point guards picking us in the way :)

Greg Anthony did earlier this year

He had 15 points and 19 ASSISTS (Kings had 26 total), so yeah, he was defended good but...he definately looked to pass first.

Wow that 1st half was something to behold! I haven't see ball movement like that in years. Ron is just a nightmare for anyone to match up with. I loved when he just powered through Chandler in the post! Then pulled off his signature double flex Haha

When the Lakers are healthy, they easily beat us. I think the Lakers are now up there with Spurs/Suns/Mavs.

We are MAYBE up there with the Nuggets/Rockets/Blazers but I still think Jazz/Warriors/Top 4 are better than us.

Remember, we've beat alot of good teams at HOME. Yes, we beat the Pistons at the Palace, but we haven't beat ONE good Western Conference team on the road yet.

Ah, I see, that's nice to know he was contained in that way.

I know he had 19 assists, which is why I specified his scoring.

That makes the win even more impressive. I need to see highlights, and try and watch this on broadband LP (which hasn't worked for me).

THe west goes:

Top Tier:
Suns
Spurs
Mavs

2nd tier:
Lakers
Jazz
Nuggets
Rockets
Hornets

3rd tier:
Blazers
Warriors
Kings

4th tier:
Clippers
Sonics
Grizzlies
Timberpups

Gasol bumped the Lakers from the middle of the 3rd tier into the top of the 2nd tier. The lakers are still another move away from top tiered IMO...they need to move Odom for an Artest level talent to be top tiered IMO. Odom/Gasol frontcourt just won't cut it defensively.

Return to Sacramento Kings
