Sac Kings have interest in Thabo Sefolosha, according to league source. He'd be much-needed defensive boost in perimeter

Anderson is going to want to start, we already have a starting PF (WCS)

I don't think WCS needs to be a starter. In fact, I think off the bench if they moved Koufos means much more PT for him at both PF and C. WCS, Anderson, and Cuz is way more complimentary than WCS, Koufos, and Cuz. His ability to defend both PF and C makes him an ultimate utility guy off the bench IMO.

His synergy with Cousins is good, and has worked better than utilizing Rudy/Omri at PF I'm guessing for the same reason it might be better than Anderson and Cuz. He's also our top young player, and I don't know about benching him when Cuz/WCS are forming something good. Then there is the issue of $, we are going to have s finite amount and other pressing positions

I guess we will see. Management has a lot to think about, whoever that is at the end of the season

A couple years ago, I think Boston traded Courtney Lee to Memphis for a 2nd round pick. I was pushing for him back then, but no luck.

As for that Bulls trade, I would love to steal Mirotic, but I am not willing to give up Gay if that is the only return.

Don't throw anything guys, but if the rumored ORL-LAC deal goes down and ORL is looking to offload Lance Stephenson, I would be okay moving Marco and one of our expirings (Butler or Anderson) for Lance. His contract is a team option this summer, he's a good defender, loves to drive (might fit in well with our offense) and fills a position of need. Who knows, he and Boogie might actually get along.

I respect your opinion and I think WCS has a lot of potential and he will be really good in the future.But one of the main reasons why our defence is the worst in the league is that we play with two centers which results in open shots for the opposition.Karl is one of the problems I can see that but it is not only because of Karl.Cousins-Koufos or Cousins-WCS or WCS-Koufos.None of these combinations work and we are getting killed in defence because of it.These combinations made Gortat look like an all star.I think we all remember how Ryan Anderson played against us.So if both of these guys will stay in the floor at the same time A LOT of things needs to change in our defence.WCS is a guy who can and will be able to defend all players in the league in future.But right now his defensive knowledge isn't there.And in offence spacing is still an issue.We all want Cousins to play from inside.Thats not gonna happen when WCS is on the floor until he devolops a good mid range.Do you remember when we had a winning streak before Casspi was injured?Thats because we played 4 small 1 big.After the injury of Casspi Karl never tried that again in starting 5.Good EL teams like Fenerbahce can score 100+ to us if we continue to play with Cousins+WCS(Koufos)+Mclemore(Belinelli).This combination shows one of the worst D I ve ever seen in NBA.If something magical happens and Cousins starts to make defence like 2014-2015 Cuz,Mclemore and Belinelli gets traded I am ok with that but I dont see that happening

I hold a different view. I think the defense/rebounding is worse with a non defensive PF and that our defensive problems now start on the perimeter (Rondo/Belinelli/Gay) and the ridiculous pace (WCS runs the floor) and would be worse with a non defensive PF like Anderson. It was just posted in the other thread the lineup with our best NetRng has WCS instead of Casspi

If you want to call WCS a center as you'd like, but I think our front office drafted him to play next to Cousins, and IMO it stunts his development bringing in another guy at his position who will expect to start in the next 4-5 years like Anderson. IMO WCS is the future, and it might play with his confidence to bench him

I think we can agree though that the Kings have other more pressing issues, like SG, and we won't have money this summer to afford two big name players IMO

But yes, I agree everyone has their own opinion

Yeah, the biggest issue is SG by far.Neither Mclemore nor Belinelli is consistent on offence and their defence level is NCAA .(Maybe even lower for Belinelli.)

Butler has full guarantee, Anderson has player option, neither expire.

I like MCW for this team. Plays the Sean Livingston role in a lot of way. Can guard three positions. But next to Rondo, wow that shooting would be bad.

I want to see the Trevor Ariza effect on this team. Every team he goes to he brings something special.

The team had an attractive offer on the table for Tobias Harris before he was dealt to Detroit on Tuesday, according to sources. Adding a stretch-four makes sense for Sacramento, but it also makes Koufos extremely expendable. He’s a great locker room guy, but he may not be a great fit for this club in its current construction.

If this is true and we had Tobias Harris offered to us for KK, why didn't Vlade jump on this? Anyone else see this offered to us or am I reading this wrong?
