I guess he fits the plan. Salary is a little high IMO and cuts a major chunk out of the flexibility they could have had going into the year in case a team gets desperate to dump some salary.

14 guaranteed contracts in Sacramento after the Vince Carter one-year $8M contract. The Kings are now a projected $8.3M under the salary cap. Great mix of young players and veterans.

He gets to play for a contender and could get one last big contract if he has a good season with Spurs. Doesn't seem all that bad.

Yeah but I think anyone worth their salt would have come at a similar # (Simmons and Sefolosha). We're looking at around 9-10mil in cap space left after signing Fox and Mason (Jackson and Giles already inked). That does limit us but I love the team setup now.

Papa and WCS learn from KK
Skal and GIles learn from Zbo
Malachi and JJ learn from VC
Hield and BB learn from Temple
Fox and Mason learn from Hill

Almost like they planned this out. :nod:
