Those full court passes sure are pretty, but oh boy does he look slow as molasses.

He doesn't look slow to me. He looks like he is in control. I like his composure and creativity.

Probably hence the poor mans Andre Miller comparison from atlanta.

I haven't heard that comparison for him. He is far more athletic than Andre. He has worked hard on his body this last year to get into the Hawks rotation. Plus he is much bigger than Miller.

If he's capable of playing as savvy and smart as Andre in his prime, I'm happy.

The last page, an Atlanta fan made the comparison.

Oh I see. I thought it was analyst or sports writer or something. I guess if it is meant strictly due to their similar play making styles then it might fit but they are very different besides that imo.

Not sure about this but just read Kings interested in bringing ex-Grizzly Nick Calathes over from Greece. I think that would be an underwhelming signing. I'll say it again, would rather sign Toney Douglas.

On another note. Sure would've rather had Dion Waiters at 2 years $6 million than Temple at $3 years $24 million. Wonder if there really was any true Waiters interest from Kings to start free agency.

I haven't heard a peep with Douglas. I remember us talking about him some too. Not many other options out there.

The best unsigned PG is Mario Chalmers. Much better defender than Douglas.

Temple is a good perimeter defender which has been a major need for a while. Waiters has a lot of potential but he's too inconsistent and probably wouldn't be a very good fit with Joerger.

But who knows if Waiters would have accepted that deal from us. The team that he is going to matters in the offer.

Calathes would be a solid signing and clearly he would know what is demanded by Joerger. Calathes is a solid defender too. I don't think the Kings have the money to bring him over. I'm not sure how much he's getting over there but if he signed for the vet min. that would be a decent pickup IMO. He's a huge PG/SG combo so he'd fit in with what they are looking for in their back court.

I don't think Mario wants to come and signs with us.

What about Beno guys? He has some experience in Sacramento as well as playing in Memphis with Joerger. Not the best 3pt shooter but his midrange game is strong and he brings experience at the backup 1 spot.

I always loved Beno's game. Would be great to see him back in the backup role.

My thought exactly. I'm really starting to wonder what is going on, we have no real backup PG on the roster and I'm starting to wonder if Joerger and Divac see Temple as more of a 1 than a 2 on our team. With options like Udrih, Lawson, Chalmers and Douglas still as free agents and we're picking up a 5th shooting guard in Patterson it really makes no sense.

I'm pretty sure the Kings have >$0 cap space as of right now. They need to trade to free up space before considering signing other FAs.

Didn't even think about Norris Cole. He did well last year when I watched him play and they were hit with injuries. I'd be okay with pretty much any of the guys you mentioned though I prefer to stay away from Lance and Larkin.
