I just wanted to share some information with you all. Basically I sent the Kings an e-mail asking them why we don't wear throwbacks, alternates etc. We've just been the same ole plane jane, home & away uni's. Here is their response.

Thank you very much for taking the time to write about your thoughts regarding the Kings uniforms. Your feedback is very important to us. It is because of the loyalty and support of fans like you the Kings have the greatest fans in the NBA.

Your Sacramento Kings will be participating in Hardwood Classic Night next season, and there is a throwback uniform in the works. Also, an alternate road uniform is being designed that will incorporate some elements from the 2001-02 season uniform. More information will be announced closer to next season.

I have been talking about this for so long now. I was just talking about it with some friends. This is very cool to hear.

Hopefully they get it right.

Never really understood why they took the Black Jersey away.. was by far the best looking jersey, I'd go as far as saying I liked it better than any Jersey from any NBA team ....

Black is a fine color considering that only one other NBA team uses it - and it mixes well with purple. I bet if they selll black/purple Tyreke jerseies, it'll pay for half the new arena.
