Glad to see Seth Tarver on the list. Very underrated guard, great hands on defense (Pac10 Defensive Player of the year last year) and has logged many minutes already in a Princeton-type system. One of the best guards OSU has had since Gary Payton, at least on defense. He's very worth a look for our second rounder or even with a trade for a late 1st.

He is suppost to be a pretty good player. I would be very surprised if he was not on our summer league roster this year.

I remember thinking Raymar Morgan was pretty good the last few years and when I was watching the NCAA tournament.

After seeing that we were working out jt's brother I did a little research on the guy and it looks like he could be a solid fit for us. They actually describe his game in a similar way to the way tyreke was described although talent wise he's much much lower on thentotem pole and he's bonzi wells as an athelete on his best days. I think he ultimately plays euro ball but I can see him finding a spot on our summer league team.
When I heard we were working him out I thought here we go Jon brockman number 2. Not as a player or anything. It just seemed to me that part of the reason we drafted brockman was because of his relationship with hawes I thought we might be considering doing the same thing with the Thompson boys.

Hopefully they post clips up at Kings.com for some of the workouts like they did last year.
Also checked the schedule and ESPNU will be showing the draft combine again this year. I found it rather boring last year but this year has a lot more "names" involved so it might be interesting.

Watching the Draft Combine on ESPN. There are some pretty talented guys in this draft, they all need work in certain areas though, but I think we will come away impressed again with what Petrie will do in this draft.

Cousins: 6'9.5 w/o shoes, 6'10.75 w/
292 lbs with 16.4% body fat

7'5 wingspan and 9'5 standing reach
Aldrich: 6'9 w/o shoes, 6'11.25 w/ (high heels?

)
236 lbs with 8.5% body fat
7'4.75 wingspan and 9'3.5 standing reach
http://www.draftexpress.com/nba-pre-draft-measurements/So basically, Cousins is out of shape and Aldrich likes to wear high heels to measurements

By the way, Whiteside...
7'7 wingspan and 9'5 standing reach

DAMN!

I enjoyed reading the interviews RealGM posted (on the front page of the site). Not so sure that Orton sold Cousins out or anything. Sounded like a legit answer. If Cousins is at all serious in his answers, though, man he is a cool customer. I'm getting more and more impressed with Whiteside's commitment too. I mean. He's working out with one of the best defensive bigs EVER.

For those of you wondering if the Kings will find a big man in this month's draft, t
The first of the elite prospects will be in town Sunday when Greg Monroe (6-11, 240) has an individual workout with the Kings.
And if that's not enough for you, here's the lineup for Tuesday's workout, which includes almost every top post player in the draft:
Ekpe Udoh, 6-10, 240, Baylor
Hassan Whiteside, 7-0, 235, Marshall
Cole Aldrich, 6-11, 250, Kansas
Ryan Richards, 6-10, 225, Kalise Gran Canaria
Patrick Patterson, 6-8, 223, Kentucky
Daniel Orton, 6-10, 260, Kentucky
Based on all I heard last season, I'd be shocked if the Kings didn't draft at least one post player. If Evan Turner fell to the Kings, that plan changes. But right now it looks as if the Kings know where they need help the most.

Damn, that's going to be an impressive workout session. Too bad Cousins couldn't be there as well, so we could see him going against Aldrich/Whiteside/Udoh etc.
Not really sure why we are working out Patterson, unless we trade down to 10-15 for him...but even then, ANOTHER 6'8" PF? Nooooooooooooooooooo.

Yeah there is no need for undersized big guys on this team any more....Brockman Landry are more than enough for me really! But Good to see Petrie FINALLY addressing our main needs...well actually this has PW name all over it. I think he's friggin fed up with Hawes not progressing really

When is Cousins' workout? We took Tyreke after he dominated the other guards. We need Cousins in the same fassion.
