http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=y ... tors060810Look on the brightside, we can consolidate 2 long term deals into 1.

.
The minimum deal would have to include torontos pick IMO.

Toronto would have to eat crow pretty badly but I would do it if it was Turk plus the #13 for Noc and the #33.
We could do a number of different things with that. Draft Wes Johnson at 5 and maybe either Whiteside, Aldrich, Patterson, Davis, or Udoh at 13. Or Cousins at 5 and maybe Henry at 13.
I am not opposed to it entirely.

There's no way the Kings do that.

We are not going to give away an additional asset in Hawes in this type of deal.
If we are taking in Hedo, we are the ones that is gaining assets, not the other way around.
The #13 isn't enough incentive to compensate that we are giving away a favorable contract in Nocioni (in comparison with Hedo) in exchange.
...
I was all for bringing Hedo in Sacramento
before he signed his massive contract. Right now, I don't even think I would want him for free.

I'm not particularly interested in Hedo coming back. Casspi and Greene are great prospects that we need to give a ton of PT next year. Unless the deal is robbery, no thanks.

If Turk alone can't fetch anyone, I don't think the trade happens. BC won't trade the 13, turk can sit on the bench where he belongs... (well atleast I hope...)

Raptors will not trade the # 13th pick to get rid of Turkoglu.
It makes no sense for kings to get turk. You guys already have greene, cassipi, garcia and not to mention nocioni who can all play the 3.

Well that's why the 13th pick is there.. based on talent Turk is better than Noc.

Yet, he is on a decline for the past several years. The #13 is no where near enough incentive to pull off the trade. Toronto needs to overpay to get rid of Hedo.
KF10 wrote:Take this into perspective:
Hedo's Contract:
$9,800,000
$10,600,000
$11,400,000
$12,000,000
= $43,800,000 owed in a span of 4 years
Nocioni's Contract:
$6,850,000
$6,650,000
= $13,500,000 owed in as span of 2 years
The Raptors are saving $26,745,000 throughout 4 years.
Doing a basic swap of Nocioni for Hedo, would be almost a godsend for Toronto. They would save tremendous $$$ from that one move.
But the question is, why are we doing this? The only way we get Hedo is if Toronto has to overpay to get rid of him.
And I don't think Toronto is in position to lose assets knowing that Bosh will be gone too. That team would be one of the worst teams in the NBA. A Bosh-less, asset-free Toronto Raptors team.
This is what I don't think the trade will happen. There is too much going against it.

The only things that even begin the process of Sacramento taking back Hedo would be if Toronto somehow managed to get Bosh to sign with the Kings as well, under that scenario Toronto would get something of significant value back
The only other scenario where I see the Kings even considering this would only be if they really really like someone they'd be getting with #13, and even then the deal would be probably Nocioni/Garcia for Hedo/#13/expiring contract
Other than those two highly unlikely scenarios, the only thing I see would be something where a 3rd team gets involved and Sacramento gets most if not all the best pieces from that 3rd team along with Hedo.
I don't see Sacramento considering any other scenario where Sacramento considers bring back Hedo.

Do not want.

You guys have no idea what was going on in the locker room or front office in Toronto. He obviously wants out and it is probably for good reason. Don't undervalue Turk. He is 1 year removed from being a major piece to the Magic making the finals. I am not saying he is the greatest player in the world, but he would be a huge compliment to Tyreke. Imagine we draft Wes Johnson and Tyreke has Johnson and Turk to shoot outside. Plus Turk can dribble and even play the 4 in spot minutes. He is a major upgrade to Noc and would make the team better. I would not do it straight up.....only with the 13th pick involved.

Won't happen. The Raptors would rather take worse contracts back in a Hedo deal than give up a young asset, whether it's DeRozan or the #13. I don't see why they'd trade the #13 just to get rid of Hedo for Noc, and I don't see why Sacramento would do any deal without the pick involved (it may be a tough decision even with the pick).

So you want the Kings to end up with Omri Casspi, Donte Greene, Francisco Garcia, Wes Johnson & Hedo Turkoglu all on the roster? That would be roughly half the active roster all playing the same position, granted some of them can play multiple positions, but this is insane.

Yes I do, on a team that has nobody except Tyreke Evans cemented in its future plans, I want all the talent and diversity we can get. It will give us a better view on who to keep moving forward.
We could also go Cousins and Udoh with the 5 and 13 pick and be overly packed in the post. I don't care. This season is going to tell a lot about who is in our future plans. Hawes? Thompson? Green? Casspi? 5? 13? Garcia? and even Landry and Udrih?
Bottom line is to trade Noc for a lottery pick and an automatic upgrade at SF (and a NBA finals impact player) is a no brainer and the Kings would be insane not to do it.

Garcia 2-3
Johnson 2-3
Casspi 3
Hedu 3-4
Greene 3-4
On a team that requires players to play in a diverse lineup, these guys fit.

Except Hedo is no longer an upgrade over most of the guys we currently have at SF already. And he takes away from playing time that young guys we like and already have could be using.
The bear minimum for me would be Nocioni & Garcia for Hedo & 13 & an expiring contract, and I'm not sure I like it even then, as Sacramento's still taking on over $20 million in salary at that point. And I'm not even sure I'd like that.
I swear, some of you just want to keep bringing in SF regardless of anything, before you know it we'd have 11 guys on the active roster that have their natural position be SF and Tyreke Evans. No Centers, no Power Forwards, no guards, who needs them, let them eat cake

There's no package (without saying "our 1st rounder every other year for the next decade") that the Raptors could put together that would make it worth taking Hedo.
