Andres Nocioni Requests Trade

Post#1 » by ICMTM » Thu Jun 10, 2010 4:49 pm

Article (in Spanish):
http://www.ole.com.ar/basquet/dramas-vo ... 72379.html

You can use Google Translate to get a better picture of what it's about:

Olé - TRANSLATED wrote:Andrés Olé contacted and while there is nothing concrete so far, the signs are not wrong direction, at least in Spain ... "There is interest from Real and the Caja Laboral (ex Chapu Tau and equipment), but no offers, because it is forbidden. Only asked about my situation and informed of their wishes, "accepted the wing before entering his personal training in the Giant of the Avenue Stadium Independiente General Pico.

The Santa Fe situation is: two years left on his contract in Sacramento (for a total of $ 13,500,000), which already said it wants to return. "To the Kings I said openly he would not stay. They answered that they agreed, they would try to transfer to a competitive team, first in the draft that comes in 15 days ... I have to wait. Toronto What I know about you, not a bad option, but I will not talk about rumors, "Chapu analyzed.

- But prefer to stay in the NBA or return to Europe? "I have no dramas returning to Europe. I would not mind, on the contrary I would say ... I've been six years in the NBA and I was never a fan of playing there. It's not like Luis (Scola) and Manu (Ginobili), who always dreamed of that. My dream has always been Europe and the NBA was just ... So I would not mind returning.

Obviously the tanslation is off but you can understand what's going on.

lol ship him out then. Not like he will get PT next season. I'd take a bag of hot nickels and three apples for the guy.

Or a bag of hot Euros

or just a Gyro

Just trade him...lol

Yeah, kinda a given, I'd guess.

I'd say it doesn't make a huge difference. We should be looking to ship him out regardless.

Its kinda funny though that Hedo says he wants to go to sac, and Noc says he wants to go to toronto. Almost seems like these two are destined to swap teams...and Petri/Colangelo are not very good traders....

We could see an EPIC disaster in the near future lol

Andres Nocioni:
$6,850,000
$6,650,000
$7,500,000 T/O - I doubt any team exercises the option.

Mike Bibby:
$5,564,767
$6,217,617

My proposal would be Mike Bibby & the 53rd pick for Andres Nocioni & the 33rd. Possibly a future second would need to be included on your end. The trade saves your organization money to pursue other free agents with.

Don't see the point of Bibby on this roster w/ Udrih & Evans. I mean, one of the major points of trading him in the first place was to give Udrih more minutes.

Ya it'd be cool to see Bibby in a Kings uni again, but it just makes very little sense.

Trade idea with Kings and Jazz:

AK (expiring deal) and Fesenko +#9 pick.

for:

Beno, Nocioni, Hawes + #5 pick.

Absolutely not.
Kings aren't going to be in any hurry to move Noc as they are already under the cap.

Could you just do Nocioni for Turkoglu?

I dont know that is a tempting offer though. That would save the Kings TONS of cap space moving forward.

The one interesting thing about this is that Nocioni was apparently told something could go down on draft day. That tells me the Kings could very well be looking to move down in the draft or all together out. It would be a huge blunder if Petrie uses that #5 to ditch Nocioni. I'll be steaming mad and down right pissed if that goes down.

The Hedo for Noc deal makes a lot of sense to me. Both aren't the greatest contracts but at least we'd be winning out talent wise. Tough to take on that kind of long term salary though. If Hedo starts playing like Hedo though we'd be getting a steal.

It something happens between TOR and SAC I expect at least 13th draft pick to be involved, Do not forget Nocioni has only 2 years left around 6 mio per year, Turkoglu has 4 years 10 mio per year.

Plus with Casspi and Green NO NEED for Turkoglu!!!

I expect a trade of Nocioni to a good team for worst player returning on only one year contract. On trading for solid player on same lenght or longer contract but in position the Kings need, like C.

Call me crazy. But I would take Bibby for Noc over any of these. I think Bibby, even tho he is older, would work great with this roster. (I am still bitter about trading him for Shelden Williams)

I'd do Bibby for Noci in a HEARTBEAT... same year contract.... Noci is a distract in the lockerroom, all he does is whine and take horrid shots, and Bibby SHOULD retire a King and would be a great lockerroom presence.

I said last year the kings need a veteran leader, and bibby could provide that.
