Most Kings fans seem to believe that Cousins is the target....who becomes the target if Cousins goes in the top 4?

Most likely, trade down and pick Monroe or Whiteside.

Probably can't trade down for Monroe. If Cousins is gone and they are set on a big he probably won't make it past them. I see the W's taking whoever is there between Cousins and Monroe.

The only way that happens is if Wolves take Cousins, which would be suicidial.

If he's gone, probably taking Monroe or Whiteside if he impressed.

If we like Whiteside more than Monroe...

Maybe, Garcia + #5 for Prince + #7?

Based on the Mocks we can probably trade down significantly lower than that and still land Whiteside.

I think too much pressure will be put on Whiteside if we pick him any lower than 9.

I have a feeling, that if Demarcuz Cousins falls to 5 which is very possible... That GP, well pass him up for Greg Monroe!! Which i guess I'd be fine with, as long as he trades down and we get something in return..

If by some miracle and Favors is still available at 5, you take him and don't look back.

I can see a scenario where DMC goes 2 to Philly. That will just mess everything up for us!

im 100% sure that cousins is gone

cousins best case scenario was to be draft at #2 and the worse case scenario at #4. when kahn announced that they will keep the #4, its obvious they will draft cousins, they will trade down if they want wes johnson. minnesota fans are also high on cousins. tyreke screw us on lottery night,kings are originaly #3 worse team but we ends up at #5 position in the draft, bad luck by tyreke. this draft is definitely top 4 picks (wall, turner, favors, cousins) lock draft.

I think it all depends on who gets drafted where.

I asked Petrie if there was any one that they are dead set on taking. He said of course "I can't say much on it, but' it really depends on who is taken up top and who falls."

This personally made me think he was talking about Cousins or Favors. There is so much talk about Monroe and how much he is liked, and it might be true, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he won't pick the better player

I really think Cousins is gonna fall, but I trust in Petrie to draft a stud...

I just don't see Cousins going to Minnesota. I can see Detroit trading up to get him as well as a cpl other teams but I see Minny passing with Love and Al Jeff especially if Wes Johnson has performed well for them. Philly at two possibly but did you see the story where they posted on the website they were taking Turner. Nets take Favors. Minny takes Johnson.

Theat leaves Monroe and Cousins for us. I would go Cousins but we know Petrie likes multi-dimensional players.

If Cousins is gone I wish Geoff would take Johnson. The more I hear though it sounds like Johnson is 100% signed, sealed, and delivered at that 4 spot. As perfect as Johnson would be at SG/SF for us, he's probably an even better fit for them. If they draft Cousins they will hands down have the most unathletic frontcourt in NBA history, hahaha.
