Well it's better than the #5 and Beno for freakin Mo Williams. The funniest part was I also read the Cavs wanted Casspi as well hahahahahaha, might as well give em Tyreke and whoever else they want geez.

I like Al but he plays no defense and has lots of money owed to him. That seems like the opposite of what the Kings are trying to do. It would make more sense if we get a pg out of it like rights to Rubio or Flynn.

Hum. I donknow about this, either in terms of a deal or in cred.

I don't buy that Cavs deal for an instant. Not one bit.

I wouldn't put much weight on a rumor started on another forum - where the person gave no reference to his sources. I don't see this trade going down, sure al is only 25, seemingly having come off an injury and back to form - but his defense sucks ... and he has a lot of money coming his way - I would rather have DC - he could be the next shaq? who knows...

WOW, they wanted Casspi to be apart of the trade package as well?! You gotta be kiddin' me!! :eek1:

--As for this deal (5 pick for Al.J) I'm not really "BIG" on that trade deal.. he has a big contract plus he lacks defense.. and we need "D" reeeaal Bad!! I don't like this trade!! Although if cousins is gone (I really hope we can get COUSINS!!).. We might consider doing it, because I'm not sure if any of the other bigs in this draft are better then Al. :dontknow:

I guess it could be a legit rumor if the wolves really like cousins and take him at 4. Jefferson is really similar to landry IMO so if petrie is planning on keeping landry then this deal makes no sense.

I don't see either team being interested in this deal to be honest. The Kings don't need to be clogging up their cap with long term money like that just yet, and the last thing the Wolves need to do is get even younger. They are much better off using one of Love or Jefferson if it won't work in a larger deal for a superstar type at a position they need filled.

wat if minny takes DMC with #4? would that force us to to this trade. I wouldnt, I'd let Kahn figure out what hes gonna do with 3 starting big men. Who knows maybe Love will start at SF

I'm not a big fan of Al Jeff, I'd much rather have Cousins.

For one, I like Cousins attitude TBH. Look at some of the best players in the league, for the most part, they all have a attitude or swagger they carry with them on the court. I don't see that in Al Jeff.

Secondly, while he scores alot of points and gets board, when did you watch a T-Wolves game you could legitimately say Jefferson dominated or led them to victory? Plus, he is not known to be a good defender, and thats the direction Petrie is going with this team. I don't see toughness when I look at Al Jefferson. I just don't see this happening TBH.

I'd rather take Johnson at 5 if DMC is gone then take on Al Jeff.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

I think being as Sacramento seems interested in either Cousins or Monroe, I don't think Sacramento would feel pressured to do such a deal.

What if the trade was:

Al Jefferson
#16
#23

for

Francisco Garcia
#5
#33

We could draft someone like Avery Bradley at #16 & Gordon Hayward at #23.

So it comes down to would you prefer Al Jefferson, Avery Bradley & Gordon Hayward or Francisco Garcia, Demarcus Cousins & Jordan Crawford?

I don't think Minnesota would offer that, but if they did, I think Sacramento might consider it, I don't think it's a given one way or the other, but again, Minnesota doesn't offer that.

I only do it if Rubio is involved.

With it being totally unclear of when Rubio might come over from Europe, I'm honestly not sure that Rubio is even on Sacramento's radar right now.

I'd rather us build around with Cousins than take up Jefferson's huge contract. I'll take the risk of drafting Cousins and starting from there instead of trading for Jefferson.

With Jefferson's contract and a chance to get Cousins, I'll pass.
