Im pretty excited. I really hope for Cousins...he changes the entire outlook of the franchise. Tyreke drive and kick to cousins for a little 15 footer. Reke and cousins pick and roll.
Come on Minny pick Wes Johnson!

Latest Draft Buzz:
NEW YORK – New Jersey Nets general manager Rod Thorn remains uncertain whether he wants to hold onto the third pick to draft Derrick Favors and is aggressively entertaining trade bids, league sources said.
“Rod doesn’t love that spot right now,” a source with knowledge of the Nets’ thinking said. “He’s willing to get out of there and go down.”
The Detroit Pistons would love to get to No. 3 and draft Kentucky center DeMarcus Cousins, sources said, but the two teams haven’t been able to get anywhere on a possible package. The Pistons engaged Sacramento on the fifth spot, but Kings GM Geoff Petrie wants to take Cousins and keep him.
Detroit is no longer making calls to move up and is planning to use its pick at No. 7, league sources said. Georgetown’s Greg Monroe tops Ed Davis on the Pistons’ board.
Thorn plans to draft Favors, the Georgia Tech freshman, should he keep the pick. Nevertheless, Favors is still seen as a young prospect who will likely have to wait two years to develop into a productive player. For the right package, sources said Thorn would be willing to drop down and take Monroe or Baylor’s Epke Udoh.
Thorn is trying to bait a team into giving them an outrageous deal for #3. (Im talking to you Wolves)
Petrie has answered our prayers.
Dumars has given up.

Is it just me or does this draft seem very boring. I mean theres no legit trade rumors and the first 5 picks in the first round seem as much of a crap shoot as the first 5 picks in the second round. I know it can all change in a few hours but im just not excited as much as i was last year.

How is that boring then? That to me is the definition of exciting.

Another Draft Buzz. In relation to Hinrich and #17
Per Ric Bucher
Since it's a good-faith deal for the time being, there remains a chance it could fall apart. But according to one source, the Sacramento Kings are prepared to make a similar deal with the Bulls in the Wizards' stead if that were to happen.
http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2010 ... id=5324240Apparently the Wizards and Bulls have made some kind of agreement... But the deal may fall through

Well, there's the new one about Hinrich and 17 going to the Wiz. The interesting tidbit is that if the deal falls apart the Kings might step in and take that package. I would love Hinrich here but that deal
kills our cap space unless Garcia or Beno go back the other way.

Boring is the wrong word. All say im unsure, previous years i had somewhat of a grasp on what direction we would be going in the draft but this year i have no clue and thats what kinda turns me off. I know ill be more hyped up as the hours go by.

I think Hinrich would be great here.. Good defender and shooter who can play both guard positions..
I wish he did not cost so much though.

Yeah, if we burn cap to get him we're done in the FA market, might not even have enough for a max FA next year either.

Per Adrian Woj.
For everything the Heat's tried to simply give him away, there isn't one team yet willing to take Michael Beasley into cap space
I wish we could just pull the trigger and take a shot on him...They are so desparate we can rob them blind.

Hinrich hasn't been good for a few years now. Beno is about as good and a lot cheaper.

I don't believe it. Out of all the teams with cap space there would be one willing to take him one if true.

We would be the new Georgetown Hoyas of the 80s. Swagger and talent to spare.
