I dont think that Petrie could have possibly done a better job in this draft. We got lucky with 2 of the better guys in the draft falling to us, especially whiteside at 33.

Whiteside can be a really good defensive anchor and I can see Demarcus being the rookie of the year this coming season.

I would really rather see us turn Whiteside. He is EXCELLENT value at 33, but we just don't need him. Both of his strengths (youth and defense) have been covered by our other centers. Plus, if we put him on the roster, Brockman's minutes would be cut tremendously because Thompson wouldn't get any minutes at C.

I think Dally is gone for sure. Brockman might get scrap minor minutes. One of Thompson or Landry will be gone soon too (by next offseason)
