Proposed trade idea from a Pacer fan

Hello Kings fans!
I'm a diehard frustrated Indiana Pacers fan, and I am sure that being fans of a once great small market team that has fallen on hard times that you guys can relate to my misery.
Having said that, I have a trade idea that might perhaps make sense for both of our franchises, and make us both better without giving up any future flexibility:
Indiana trades Brandon Rush, rights to Euro Erazem Lorbek to Sacramento
Sacramento trades Jason Thompson to Indiana
Rush is a defensive minded wing who shoots the 3 point shot very well. He has been misused somewhat by our inept current coaching staff, but he would fit much better in Sacramento I think with your current personnel. He is a good post feeder, is above average defensively, and doesn't need the ball on offense alot to fit in. Plus his lower key demeanor might be good with some of your combustible personalities.
Lorbek is a decent Euro PF, but is here mainly for sweetener. This deal solves a wing problem for you cheaply, and clears playing time for Landry, Cousins, Dalembert, and Whiteside.
For Indiana, Thompson I think is a great fit next to Roy Hibbert as a starting level 4. Thompson has good size and is an above average rebounder, which we need next to Hibbert. I also believe/hope Thompson is big and strong enough to give us back up minutes at the 5, enabling us to play a 3 man rotation of Hibbert/Thompson/Hansbrough, with McRoberts plugging in any gaps.
Short term we still have Jeff Foster and Troy Murphy's expiring, but with this deal we can use those big contracts to improve in other areas.
Most of my Pacers fellow fans are reluctant to give up on Rush, and if they do agree to move him they think PG is the most pressing concern.....but while I see their arguments, I know long term we need a rebounding PF with length and athleticism, and I think Thompson might fit the bill.
Thoughts from Kings nation?
