(Off Topic) Can anybody see the pic in my sig?

Post#1 » by SacTownKings4Life » Wed Jul 14, 2010 9:27 am

I just wanna know if I'm crazy, or if my browser screen is playing tricks with me, or if somethings really wrong.
I have a pic of DMC in my sig. Or at least I SHOULD have the pic in my sig. It seems like every time I look at a post of mine, my sig is all messed up. Sometimes the pic with be there, sometimes, it will just say "image hosted by tripod.com", and sometimes my entire signature will not even show up at all. It's driving me crazy!

I'm trying to find out if anybody else can see the pic like it's intended to be, or if it's messed up with a stupid advertisement picture. Cause I have the sneaking suspicion that I'm walking around here with a faulty signature and looking stupid. I've tried linking to the exact same picture from two entirely different links and both of them seem to show the same thing. Image hosted by *fill in the blank site*. (the last one said "wildcatworld.com") The image DOES exist because I uploaded it to my own Tripod account, so it's not a broken link.

Damn. That's what I was afraid of. Like I said, I've tried linking from two different sites, and they both did the same thing. I'm not sure what to do about it. Like I said, the link is not broken because it's right here:

you can't hotlink pics from tripod (it's still not showing up)
just make a photobucket acct for the pic you want in your sig.

Make sure your sig conforms to the sig guidelines for RealGM
viewtopic.php?f=191&t=812774

Also, make sure that you're linking from your own account on a hosting site and that you have the appropriate amount of bandwidth available for the hosting.
