I wouldnt trade Landry for Harris
I dont think Harris would work with Tyreke anyway

Two things that come to mind from the Sacramento end of this.....
first, I don't see them including a first round pick in a deal for at least another 2 years, or it would have to be at least indefinitely lotto protected, if they agreed to send one out before then
Second, I think if Sacramento was going to trade for a PG that's supposed to be a long term fixture as I'm assuming Harris would be, they'd likely be sending out Udrih as part of the deal.

Never. Landry plus a top 10 pick for Harris? No way. Not a fan of Harris anyways. Cant shoot.

Harris coming here has been overdone on the trade board. He just doesn't work. If we are looking to pick up a change-of-pace guard then we need to go young and b/u like a Ty Lawson type. not an established sstarter-level guy who is going to demand the ball in his hands away from Tyreke.

What part of top10 protection did you not understand?
I get the concern about fit with Harris and Evans but out of curiosity. How does Landry fit into your rotation next year, or otherwise, who is out of the 4 (5 actually) bigs that gets the shaft by getting no playing time.

Harris only has 2 years as an established started who needs the ball. And in the 2 he played next a ball dominating wing in VC (and was an all-star) and then a 2nd option to a post dominating big in Brook. I take it Kevin Martin was traded because he doesn't fit next to Tyreke as a SG, so who exactly does fit next to him?

our four big man should be...Landry-Dalembert starting first handful of games, then landry-cousins. with JT and Dalembert backing them up. Whiteside should be in the D-league most of the season. Brockman (when he resigns) spot minutes. Pretty plain and simple to me.

You think there is enough minutes for 4 bigs? Which 1 will be playing 10 a game?
It actually wouldn't matter all that much to me is you swapped JT for Landry in my proposed trade, but i'm keeping my 2nd rounder.

Am i really the only 1 that think the Kings would actually be good this year? Even more then their own fans?

35-40-something good? Most fans believe in that.
Playoff-bound? Not really.
We are about a year or two away from the playoffs. I mean, I would like to see them in the playoffs this year but it is unrealistic at this point of time. Unless, Evans becomes a high-end all star this year, Cousins dominate from the start, Greene and Casspi plays extremely well, Thompson/Landry and co plays very well. Too much what-ifs.

Well, crying about giving up a top 10 pick sounds like someone saying they wont be all that good. Especially since the proposal has top10 protection on the pick.

Hey, Bulls fan here. Congrats on getting Cousins, I really think he is going to ba a star for many years to come and wish we could of somehow swung a trade to draft him...
Regardless of my thoughts on him, I was just wondering how much you guys valued him. Now, I know this would NEVER happen but would you guys enterain a trade of Noah for Cousins?
Or even better yet how bout a Deng, Taj, and Noah for Cousins, Garcia and Dalembert trade? (just added this since that way we would take back some big salaries and get a 2 guard that we need.)
Again, this is just a hypothetical but after watching him play the last couple days and at UK I was wondering if you guys thought as highly of him as II do, thanks.

The Kings think highly of Cousins. He is right up there with Evans in terms of untouchable in the Kings' POV IMO.
Cousins is the player that the Kings are longing for over a decade, a dominant-skilled big man. I like Noah but there is no way the Bulls can nab Cousins outside of Derrick Rose.

Yeah I agree, although the Bulls also classify Noah as untouchable... I posed this question on the Bulls board a people thought it was RIDICULOUS to suggest giving up Noah for Cousins!

It may sound ridiculous (maybe it is) but I understand their concern about the trade. They are clearly in a win now situation in Chicago. I don't think giving up a guy like Noah considering the fact that they are looking to go far in the POs.
But in the Kings POV, we would literally laugh that deal and hang up the phone.

I have to say that if this were two years from now and Tyreke, Donte and Omri are entering their fourth and fifth seasons and Tyreke has established himself as a fixture at the all-star game then I do it. Unfortunately, as stated above the Bulls are in win-now mode, we are not. We are still building for the future and DMC is a big part of that barring a complete flop.

no need to rush a trade. id keep both thompson and landry and would rather trade dally. if we are going to make a trade you have to find the best fitted pg/ combo guard to play next to evans. im not convinced Lawson is that guy. i agree with what was said earlier in evans would be forced to guard the 2 when lawson is on the court thus negating his strength to bully smaller pg's.... reality is maybe we should try and target this hole in the draft next year vs. gamble with thompson/landry
