It's Quincy Douby again folks

Per HoopsWorld:
The Cavaliers and the Kings have expressed a lot of interest and it seems Douby could have a deal in the coming days.

http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=16833

There is also a video of an interview they hosted with Douby.

Yeahhhhh it's HoopsWorld but still, I can see Petrie reaching out to the guy. He's so eager to make a comeback into the league, he'd be super cheap like Sean May was. He has alot to prove. Well now that we have Beno and Tyreke running the point, we could Doubs do what he was drafted to do, score off the bench.

Douby>Morrison :D

If you sleep on Beno, he can drop 30/10 on you.

^Shall remain until this happens

lmao, I remember playing as him in NBA 2k8 or 2k7...
Each time I'd take a three pointer, the crowd would say (very quietly)... DoouuuBBBByyyy.
I used to luv that!! so I'd always score 25-30 pts with him a game (all Three's)..

I really dont have a problem with this. He thinks he can still play in the NBA, and i want to see him prove it.

I don't see Douby as a player worth backtracking on, let Cleveland have him

I Doubylieve we should pick him up - He is a hard worker, only 26 years old - played for a Turkish team the last few years and I think he has a lot of fight in him. Having a player you can get for cheap, has struggled and made it back in contention for an nba job and has a lot to prove? Why not.. least that could happen is we waive him no harm done...

meh IDK. He wasn't very good. I'm not sure if he has improved, I guess it's possible but I wont believe it till I see it. Whenever he was on the court for us the oppossing team would just smoke Douby all night long.

We need a pg i think not another wing (especially an undersized one). I much rather us go after luther head who wouldn't be as cheap but still most likely relatively inexpensive.

I wouldn't mind trying out Douby again. I sorta liked him the first year.

At least he did well in the Turkish league. If we aren't spending any money, maybe he can come and take away some of the sting of not drafting Rondo in 06.

Wouldn't mind this at all. In fact, I think it's a great idea. Before he was being put into the unusual position of being forced into the PG spot but next to Reke he could be allowed to be exactly what he is.

I remember when he was with us, that he was very inconsistant.

I think we can find someone in the SL that could help us.

I would rather have a swift kick in the nads than to see him on the roster again. The dude just sucks. Slamson deserves playing time over that loser.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I deffinitely agree.... Douby is a bust, everyone who has their hopes up for him, give up, he won't do anything... I do think Slamson would be better than him too ahahahhaa

Douby is very talented. All his problems were mental. If he can overcome the mental block of producing at an NBA level I'd welcome him with open arms, especially if we're bringing him in as a gunner rather than a PG next to Reke.
