Jon Brockman to the Bucks

It makes sense but I didn't see it happening. Who would you like to see the Kings get in return?

UKF is this official ?

If so i dont think we are required to get anyone if its a free agent pick up but if we get something in return I will take a future draft pick or CHRIS DOUGLAS ROBERTS !

I heard about this yesterday.

I really hope it is not true. (Maybe somehow, Delfino comes back to the Kings?)

I'm not surprised, he'd be Sacramento's 6th big behind Landry, Dalembert, Thompson, Cousins & Whiteside, if he resigned with Sacramento, he'd barely get in the rotation, makes sense that he'd go somewhere else.

His odds aren't much better in Milwaukee. Bogut, Gooden, Sanders, and Illyasova are above him on the depth chart. Gallon and Jackson are in the mix also.

It's not official just yet, but it makes sense. We would be able to grab that two guard everyone was asking for. Delfino seems like the most likely pickup. He's got a two year deal but a team option after this year. I was a huge fan of Brockness too, but with Daly, Landry, JT, Whiteside, AND Cousins his time would be spent mostly in a suit.

Kinda. He's a SG/SF. But we really don't need him.

I hope this isn't true! I love Nessy!

Delfino is more of a SF, but he could play SG in the right system. His salary for next year is Non-Guaranteed, not a team option as had been mentioned.
Trade S. Jackson soon. NJ seems like a nice place for him.

Well I agree with you in this case MITCH I dont want DELFINO either if we had to deal with MILWAUKEE wich i dont think we have to I would rather have CDR if not a future draft pick !

I think we could get A.MILLER from portland wich i think would be a better fit & he has only 1 guaranteed year left also !

I'm listening to Softy's show right now to see if he has anything else to say. Will report what I hear.

I would take Delfino, he is a good shooter. I love Brock, but he doesn't have a good opportunity to play here.

Softy is going to have Koz on shortly to talk about the rumor. Stay tuned.

Good interview with Koz about Brock, I love that guy. But what about Wesley Walker talking to the Maloof brothers..?

Here's a synopsis from Koz's interview on Softy's show.

Koz is not really hearing anything about a trade. Since Brockman is a RFA, sounds like Kings may allow the Bucks to sign him without matching the offer sheet. They may be trying to work a S&T (my speculation), but who knows what that would bring. Bottom line is that the Kings have a stockpile up front, need to create room for Whiteside, and Brockman is the unfortunate odd man out.

Something else that came up was that Wally Walker (former Sonic owner) was meeting recently with the Maloofs. Speculation from local Seattle media is that the discussions were about possible relocation to Seattle. Have absolutely no idea how legit the speculation is...just reporting what is being talked about up here.

you guys think it could be possible we're going after redd? i know they want to get rid of him and we have the cap space and he's pretty much exactly what we need aside from the injuries. not saying i love the idea, but just from looking at their roster this seems possible

I doubt it. Redd is currently recovering from his second ACL/MCL tear in the same knee. He looked bad last year after returning from the first knee surgery. He is not expected back until February or March. If you are expecting Redd the past player, that ship has sailed. He is currently an 80% insured expiring contract. I don't see Sacramento having a great need for an insured expiring contract.

Return to Sacramento Kings
