Jose? Really?

I think this has been attempted multiple times in the past. Bottom line is that the Maloofs have no control over bringing back the black. Your gripe is with the NBA, they are the ones in control of what teams where black or not.

I got this response from the KINGS org after writing them an e-mail back in April, so I really don't think a petition is necessary.

"Your Sacramento Kings will be participating in Hardwood Classic Night next season, and there is a throwback uniform in the works. Also, an alternate road uniform is being designed that will incorporate some elements from the 2001-02 season uniform. More information will be announced closer to next season."

I'd like to see the half black half purple uni's on a hardwood classics night.

We can't do anything about it.. Only a certain allotment of teams get to wear black each season as an alternative... Kings do well and we have a good chance at getting them back!

I emailed the NBA and they responded that it is NOT their prerogative on how many teams can wear black. That was a false rumor that was simply going around.

The NBA stated in the email that the teams themselves decide what colors they can wear as long as there is a distinction on which is team is home and which is away.
