Greene is a LEGIT 7 FOOTER

Over the summer, there were some talk about Donte Greene being close or at 7 feet. It is not unreasonable to think that some young players, in this case, Donte Greene, can grow past his rookie season. With this video, I think there is legitimacy about Greene being 7 feet tall.
At 1:11-1:12, you will see Greene standing (back-to-back) with Thompson. As we know, Thompson is a legitimate 6'11'' player. Here is the video:

And here is a picture of them (credit goes to ZenBaller from StR):

Greene has a good inch or so over Thompson.
What do you guys think?

To bad he's so damn skinny. He's tall enough and has the athleticism and blocking skills to be a very solid PF. But he's so. Damn. Skinny.
Still, this opens up the rotation. He really CAN play 4-2.

Greene is a very versatile player. It will be interesting to see how his development will evolve. He has the skills of a perimeter player but the size of a PF/C (tall-wise).
I think ultimately, he will be a similar player like Kevin Durant (in terms of using his height advantage, length and skill) over smaller players that play the same exact positions.

Just me, but I'm pretty sure JT is closer to 6'10". Still, Donte did indeed grow. I noticed he looked taller than Cousins during VSL.

Donte Greene is the perfect SF in this system. He is like a Lamar Odom in his versatility at C height just so big and versatile but SG speed. He his best stats in his last 2 years are 38% 3pt shooter and 85% FT shooter and .7 blocks in 20mpg at SF. He is young so consistency is not there but will come around in the future. Donte just brings so much to the team on both sides of the ball. When he can learn how when to shoot the 3 at times and when to stay near the paint his rebounding will also come around.
Casspi on another team would start at SF as well but Donte is just a hair better.

You think he can get himself some more skill and start giving a darn on the floor one day? The dude has the physical talent to be like the second coming of Kevin Garnett...
"I would like to thank the Lakers organization for this championship. The biggest mistake of my career was staying loyal to Sacramento for those ten long years after I got good..."

I don't think it is the matter of work ethic. It's more of how early Greene declared to the NBA. I personally thought another year in college would have done wonders for Greene.
Luckily, guys like Greene and Thompson already endured the worst (their first year was with the 17-win Kings), so they know what to expect if things gets bad here (god forbid).

LOL DG is an entertaining guy. JT is ass at football like me LOL. I was wondering why in the hell this thing is so well-produced til I saw at the end that it''s a Kings.com production.
