lets say demarcus has a tyreke-like rookie year, cisco plays as good as hes capable of playing and doesnt get injured, and casspi and donte can play consistently the whole year.
I know this doesnt seem likely, but IF it were to happen how good can this team be this season?

only way Demarcus could even do that if Carl was moved its not possible at all right now for Cousins do it.
If you have an issue, take it up by PMing a mod. Stop derailing threads.

lol knew that was coming. Ok i guess Cousins could play great if they were the freaking **** ass Warriors who score 108 and allow 112. Kings have a great future but i dont see them taking out the Lakers or the Heat without having all their big men as shot blockers which is so underrated apparently. Clog the paint defensively and even the Heats offense will look average, and yes they can shoot but thats what man to man defense is meant for and Tyrekes signature steal manuever is baws.

I sometimes miss the days of being able to edit/delete useless drivel.
Anyway, as to the original topic, I think this team can and should be 9 or 10 in the west, but will not be a serious challenger for a playoff spot. That's my story and I'm sticking to it...until I change my mind.

I think the best case scenario for this team, presuming everything clicks as well as it possibly could, is maybe .500. I would have a very hard time going over that number and even that number itself seems unattainable this year, but assuming everything were to go perfectly I think that would be the result.
I personally am still betting on 30 wins. Maybe 35.

Still too young. Historically speaking young teams don't win right away. I'm interested to see the focal point of the coaching staff, whether that be win now at all costs or individual development.

+1.
34 wins and up I'll consider a success seeing as how young we are. Honestly we are still a year or so away, but we are getting the pieces together. Honestly if we go above .500 in the month of Feburary I believe it is where we play all our games except two against teams that mad the playoffs last year, then I'll be happy.

It all depends on if the team finds a true identity...pretty much if Cousin turns out to be an above average defender, then the Kings can be an excellent defensive team.
