by 5th pick sucks
NBA rookies recently took a survey voting on various questions and John Wall not surprisingly finished first in the categories of expected Rookie of the Year and also which players will have the best career. Blake Griffin (23.1 percent), DeMarcus Cousins (12.8) and Wesley Johnson (7.7) also received significant votes in comparison to Wall's 38.5 percent.
Lance Stephenson, Luke Babbitt and Devin Ebanks received the most votes for rookies being most overlooked.
Terrico White, Paul George and Wall garnered the most attention for being the most athletic, while Babbitt, Jordan Crawford and Gordon Hayward are considered the top-three shooters.

I don't think Cousins will win with Dalembert around.

It's good to see Cousins name atleast mentioned in the top 3 regarding R.O.Y. even if he doesn't win it, I will be perfectly happy with a solid rookie season, something round 10/8.

Yeah.
He did not played at all last season. So technically, he is still a rookie.

But it was still his rookie season, technically. He just missed out on it.
If you've been in the league for 5 years, but you missed one year due to injury, are you a 5th year player or a 4th year player?

It doesn't work like that.
Griffin hasn't stepped into the court as a professional yet. He is still considered as a rookie right now.
