Jannero Pargo was released by the Hornets. Any interest in picking him up? He is a really good shooter off the bench which is one of our biggest needs.

Greene/Casspi/Wright
JT/Landry/
Dalembert/Cousins/Whiteside

I actually wouldn't mind him at a cheap price. He's clearly better than Head, only thing is we do have Pooh Jeter so it depends how much playing time he would get.

When Pargo left Chicago, Bulls fans rejoiced.

How is Jeter as an outside shooter?

And few things are better than Head. Just sayin

I'm quite happy with Pooh right now.

from what ive seen, i really want to see jeter get some minutes this season...pargo would take away from that

Not trying to be rude about this topic but every time a player is released or a rumor that a player wants to be traded etc. someone always starts a thread about that player .
I can understand that when a player has a serious possibility to help our team etc. but I dont get why someone always seems to start a thread almost everytime .

I am not trying to MOD , back seat MOD or anything . I am just saying that my point is if J.Bayless , D.williams , CP3 or someone at a position we need or that can help us I can understand it I just feel sometimes people post threads for the sake of starting a new topic out of being bored .

Again I am not trying to MOD or be rude I dont want to argue with anyone or even offend anyone if so thats not my intent .
Just stating that sometimes threads about certain players are pointless unless we aquire a player or their is a direct article / rumor of a player wanting to play for SAC or a rumor of a trade involving SAC .

Just throwing something out there to discuss..

You do not have to like it or agree with it, but having threads that people can openly discuss player transactions during the time of the year that transactions are taking place are fun and this is (supposed to be) a fun site where fellow basketball fans can interact and give their two cents.

Pargo is a good shooter and that seems to be one of the consensus needs for the Kings right now.

I already understand all of that even before i wrote my statement Dustin .
Your right anyone can create a topic to discuss no doubt about it .
I am just saying that it seems as if there are at least 50-100 topics a year that someone will post should we get this guy or that sometimes the discussion is worth it & makes sense but in all it seems that some topics are started purely out of bordom or for the sake of seeing ones own words in print .
Not trying to take anyones fun away from enjoying the board I just wish that people would not try to talk about every last available player in so many threads .

The majority of KINGS fans know that the KINGS are not going to spend much of our cap space unless its to get a major star & thats doubtful at this point at least until the trade deadline if that .
Players to fill our roster will be guys in our summer leauge right now possibly JETER , LANDRY etc.
If we trade a player its likely GARCIA with the possibility of C.LANDRY only if LANDRY doesnt improve alot or unless COUSINS & J.THOMPSON have really big years thus possibly dealing Landry & his 3 million expiring for the sake of not having to pay him a starting salary of roughly 10 million per year salary or so & getting draft picks , young players , a disgruntled star , etc.

Anyways anyone can post whatever topic they want & it takes two to conversate but It would be nice for common sense to prevail & just know that every possible player available does not need to be discussed because if you know the teams needs then you know that players that play that position dont really need to be discussed .

Pargo would not be an upgrade to anyone player that will be on our 12 - 15 player squad so its pointless IMO .

I am done with this topic I just wanted to make this general statement & I am sure I am not the only one who feels that sometimes people go overboard with how many players are talked about in reguards should we go after this guy etc. It's crazy how often thats done !

Also, it's really not a good sign that he was released by the Hornets, given that they have squat for a backup PG right now.

As a Bulls fan, I can tell you firsthand just how bad Pargo is. He's a chucker that can't score. It's as simple as that.
Per 36 minutes last season, he took 16.6 shots and only made 5.7. For reference, Derrick Rose took 17.2 per 36...
He's also a lousy defender and passer and should be playing in a rec center league.

In fairness to Pargo, he was released because of a knee injury. Same reason his deal with Golden State fell through.
