So far our defense has been great, but our offense stinks yet again. It's mostly been Landry iso's so far.

Not alone anymore! hahaha.

Dare I say we are starting to look like an actual team. I'm really, really starting to like Luther Head. He could be that elusive fit next to Tyreke Evans if he continues to except his role. Dudes a pest on defense!

I'm leaning towards agreeing with you on Head. I'm still not happy with the offense though. The ball is not moving enough at all.

I honestly didn't realize we had a game tonight until just now :(

I'm disappointed I couldn't think of a creative "Head" joke worth posting.

Second unit comes in, they lose the lead.

I mean, the second unit were essentially starters from last year: Beno, Thompson, Casspi & Garcia. With the exception in Cousins. I would like to think that this unit should be cohesive and effective...

And just like that Tyreke comes in for Casspi. Dang, Casspi's minutes are compounded.

.....and transition defense is still horrible.

The only explanation I got is that the starters are relatively tired due to the B2B games: Hornets/Jazz. But other than that, it was a stupid move by Westphal. It gave the Jazz all the momentum in the world.

Some pretty startling observations. Mostly the scoring. Just completely died after the 1st half, platooning that 2nd unit all at once killed any momentum we had. I'm also not liking what I'm seeing from Cousins. He really does get ignored in the course of the offense far too much and I think he's starting to dog it at times. Man up dude. And Westphal, stop wasting an offensive talent like Cousins, start using him like he should be. Not like Carl Landry pt. 2.

Gahhh. Our shooters can't shoot from long distance & our defensive center thinks he can shoot. Just great.

The Kings played pretty good defense and decent offense in the first quarter but since then, everything turned crap. The offense is almost an equivalent watching a rabbit desperately escaping from 500 pound lion. It's hooooorible. The shift of the defensive intensity from the first quarter to the second quarter is pretty alarming.

I could see why Casspi lost his starting position. He is pretty bad on defense. It looks like he regressed from last year (who I thought was pretty above-average-ish). He lost AK47 on the last play for the shot at the basket.

Matt Harpring said something that most of us can agree. He said:

"There is no set offense for the Kings. It's mostly one on one play and high screen & rolls"
