GAME THREAD: KINGS (4-14) vs CLIPPERS (4-17)

Kings take on the Clippers tonight. Quake Griffin and the Clips looking to solidify their position as "not the worst team in the division/conference/league" while the Kings look to break 100 and maybe, just maybe break our losing streak (thus evening the season series). The Kings will go with:

G Beno Udrih
G Tyreke Evans
F Donte Greene
F Jason Thompson
C Demarcus Cousins

The Clippers will start

Blake Griffin and...who cares. Its the Clippers. But for the sake of the thread:
G Eric Bledsoe
G Eric Gordon
F Al Farooq Aminu
F Blake Griffin
C Deandre Jordan

Griffin is going for 9 straight double doubles. Tyreke is looking to backup the vintage ROY game against the Mavericks. Go Kings. Lets get out to a good start.

Are you crazy? Yes it may be the Clippers... but theirs another stud besides Griffin. Eric Gordon, he's crazy good!! Don't count him out for one second. And Davis, Kaman are also good. But I'm not sure if Kaman will play tonight.

Yeah, I hope so too.. I was horrified when we were blown out last time in the holiday game; of all games.

We're coming off of a good game against the Mav's even know we lost by two. So I'm hoping for the best out of this new starting lineup.

Because, Cousins had two fouls in the first three minutes of the first quarter. He basically had to be taken out.

That was by far the most solid first quarter I've seen us play this whole season. DMC was gettin hot then got hit wit that one BS call. Reke is looking like Reke ROY, just would like to see his jumpshots go in,

Characterizing Cousins as a bone-head for his foul-trouble is really unfair if you actually watch the games as opposed to read stats. It's pretty appalling what he gets called for. He can be lying on the ground without a single player within a 10-foot radius and he'll be called for a foul (I saw this one at the Bulls game in person). And it continues tonight...

This. He seems to be handling it well right now though. Blake Griffin has been stopped cold by Cousins and Cousins is scoring at will against Griffin. I don't know why we're not going to him more.

I know....I was kidding about that "who cares" comment. I know Aminu shoots the 3 well because the Clippers announcers won't let me forget it. Anyways, I liked the early Cousins followed by the Tyreke aggressiveness when Cousins was out with foul trouble. I am still a few minutes behind live action on the DVR.

I wonder if sixflags wants to take the Kings off the Maloofs hands and use them to their full potential. Because the Kings are the BIGGEST Rollercoaster ride in the world! Shoot lights out one night...look like Gonzaga the next
