No Tyreke Evans. Head gets the start instead.

JT playing some great defense! Saw something that leaves me with a smile, Scola went for the pump fake and Jason didn't even flinch. Last year that's an and 1.

Didn't like Westphal taking Cousins out that early to put Landry in but Landry is playing well so far.

Now that our good start is out of the way, it's time for Westphal to get out-coached.

Looks great and all, but I don't like this team playing the run and gun. We're leading but this isn't how this team can consistently win in the future.

We've looked our best by far when we run and gun.

The refs are never going to respect Cousins.

Wondered when Cousins would get T'd up. Man, this kid gets so many BS calls against him and so few calls called in his favor it's disgusting. That "foul" was a clean block and at worst goal tending.

This team just isn't as good without Cousins on the floor. Westphal took him out after he went for the steal on D and I'm sure it was to send a message, but he keeps Landry in after trying to hit a shot over the top of the backboard? Get the f*ck out.

We've slowed it down considerably in the second quarter and we've went from leading to being down 10. Pretty much speaks for itself.

Hmmm...figured they'd at least wait until the other team had halftime to adjust.

The problem with "run and gun" is that in that type of system it's even more imperative that you have some sort of consistent offensive identity. We don't. The last 5 or so games Westphal did things right, give it to your best players and get out of the way. Sure, they may not play well but is it really a coincidence that your team seems to play better? Also helps with the fact that you don't have a system. Talent is the only thing that can get you through the lack of any identity. Ask role players to do that for you and you're destined to get that number 1 pick someday. Absolute 'tard move not to continuously go down low with Brad Miller manning the post on the other end. The time was there for it to happen, you have to strike while the opportunity is there.

What are you watching!? The Kings looked like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off! They just started turning the ball over left and right and missed a bunch of early (and bad) shots whilst prancing up and down the floor. The Kings didn't stop scoring because they weren't running, they stopped scoring because they were running with no intent and in an entirely reckless manner. Pretty much the story of this team this season.

Truth is the Kings probably have to run and gun now because they're down. Pace the game early and go down low with your offense based around that and you control the pace. The Rockets like to run, they aren't great at it, but they have a much better coach and more wins last time I checked.

They looked like idiots because we don't know what the hell to do in a half-court set (probably because we don't have one). Other than Cousins, we don't have any half-court players. It's pretty simple.

Adelman is a smart coach, he's slowing the game down now. We probably need to run at this point and he's taking that away from us, hahaha.

Oh, believe me, that's the biggest most glaring problem this team has, and with the talent this team has down low moving forward a running style doesn't make the most sense. They went to Cousins on the box the first play in and he got Donte an EASY shot, he missed, but that's the idea. Pace, pace, pace. They look better when running but because running is hardly every sustainable we fall to pieces when the other team continues to score, or finally locks down on D.
