Haven't seen a thread about this in a while. It seems like more and more people are pushing to get a new Kings arena built. Hopefully they can get something done because I don't want to see what happened to Seattle happen to us:

Honestly, if we don't start winning some games or show some progress, I don't think anything will ever happen in the arena talk.

I hope this isn't true. If so, we aren't getting any deals done this season because we cant beat anyone. I'm just hoping something gets done because if not I think its very plausible the Kings could leave Sacramento

Sweet. I hope something gets done. I dont want the Kings to leave even if they are terrible. Maybe if something gets down the Maloofs will spend more time trying to make the team better instead of the arena issues.

Thought this was discussion worthy but not quite thread worthy-
Sacramento Kings lack wins, but attendance is up
Talk about a Christmas surprise. The Sacramento Kings, owners of the worst record in the National Basketball Association, are actually drawing more fans than they did last year.
A third of the way into a disappointing season, 13,400 people still dot Arco Arena's stands nightly, slightly more than the 13,250 last season when the team showed spark. Fewer than those 17,000-plus crowds from the winning seasons, but improvement for a product that's not showing any.

Yep! They also are giving tickets away as well to season ticket holders so they can give them away.
